Hi all, sorry haven't been on here much, so tired all the time, and struggling to keep up with everything. Might even have an early night lol

love and hugs to everyone and if I owe anyone a reply do forgive me, I have got very behind with my messages.

take care, and have a good Sunday, folks, hope the sun keeps shining.
Forecast is rain on Tuesday, day of the first funeral!
Typical!
Won't know till nearer the end of the week if I am going to Ernest's funeral, not sure I can drive the 150 miles plus to get there.

Morning folks, well I had hoped to get some extra sleep but apparently I am expected at a b'day party for Sarah and 3 friends, and her sibs, at the water park near Niagara Falls. Then I have to go to work. Colleen goes back to Kingston tonight so the fun starts again in the morning.
Liz I hope you were able to get an early night and some restful sleep.
I'm under pressure to get ready, have to leave in 10 minutes and I'm still in my nightie.
have a good day all, hugs all round,
Love
Mary

Sorry I have not been around today folks.
It has been a beautiful sunny day here, but I've been cold anyway!!
Well you know me, "I'm cooldd".
We have however had a *beauty of a day*.
Burnt the new (gas) kettle, now need a new one!
Allan put some seeds in a pot to boil slowly.... forgot about them until the fire alarm went off! Wardens called on the tanoy to see if we were okay. They did not hear us answering them, so they had to phone to make sure.... Then Allan burnt the toast for tea!
All in all, it has proved to me that the man is exhausted, and should realise that himself!!
'Sit down' is like swearing at him!
And 'shall I make an appointment with the doctor for you?'
Well that is like saying would you like a divorce? ;-0(
Hope you are all doing well today and that you have had a nice day.
See you all tomorrow, wash day so I can come on here in between wash loads.
I'm so efficient am I not? ;-0)
Good night all,

I have been on a bit of a high. Been working none stop in the garden and the house. Now I'm coming down. Went to see mum and dad this afternoon and
came home feeling pretty depressed as per normal after going there.

I have a feeling I have been stitched up tomorrow, and have been put down to travel with the woman I don't want to travel with. So stewing over that.

Lost the little bag to put wash tablets in the
machine. So I used a dishcloth by cutting a hole
in it. Hope it works!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Hasn't it been lovely out.

Hi folks, hope things are better today for you all.

Mary, hope you enjoyed the party and most importantly, that Sarah enjoyed it all.

Deanna, tell Allan to sit down and design that bookrest and to take things easier. Hope you don't set the world on fire this week lol Take care.

Carole, if you get that 'orrible old biddy, try to ignore her, treat her with the contempt she deserves, and don't let her upset you. Get a pic of her in your head, of her sitting on the loo with her drawers round her ankles lol and she won't seem so fearsome! Do not get into an argument or discussion with her, if she starts, just remember me on your shoulder and shun her completely. Selective hearing, her voice does not reach your ears!
Hope the dishcloth worked, I suppose an old pair of tights with the foot part cut off to make a bag might have worked too.

Dutch, thanks love, will leave a note for the postie so he puts the package over the back gate.

love and hugs to everyone, I will be glad when this week ahead is at an end, in a way.

Well Sarah had a lovely party, they had about 3 hours actually in the water or on the water slides. Once we got Sarah in the water we couldn't get her out LOL.
I arrived at work absolutely exhausted, it was very humid in the water park and I became quite wheezy. Sarah's 3 friends were absolutely wonderful with her, they've learned how to re-direct her, get her to look at them. She kept giving them hugs, she was SO happy.
The only prob was when it was time to leave Sarah escaped from the change room (mercifully with her bathing suit on) and dashed back into the wave pool, where none of us could reach her. I asked 3 teens to escort her over to the side, but she gave them the slip, funny actually, they were completely bewildered by her antics.
Eventually Emlyn went in, and though half her size, managed to steer her to the edge. The place served them pizza which was excellent.
I arrived on time at work, but I've been dragging all evening.
Rest well , hope for a lovely sunny day tomorrow.

Hi Mary, hope you can get some rest when the young 'uns are in school etc later. Don't want you to be poorly.

Sounds as tho the party was memorable and glad Sarah had such a good time. It's great that she has some good friends who know how to bring out the best in her. Good thing these parties aren't too often huh?

Was thinking about you today - your card is still up and always reminds me of you.
must get some mails cleared so night hon, take care, and hope the week is a good one for you all.

I just got home and found a friend has dropped off some organic veggies for us.
A huge bag of zucchini , another huge bag of cucumbers, a large box of green tomatoes, and five pound of fresh caught fish. The zucchini look as if they are on steroids, they're huge.
What in the world am I to do with all this produce (not that I'm not grateful).?
Busy night at work, ready for a long nap, and unbelievably all the kids are asleep, last night Sarah didn't settle till 3 AM.

Good night,
sending hugs

Good morning all.
The sun is shining it's little heart out, but I feel very sad & low.Today it is exactly 2 years to the day that my best friend here in Holland died.Had mistakenly thought it was the 29th, until it came to me in a dream I had about her. This was not strange at all, because it was after meeting a friend who told me that she had met Jeanne's (friend) husband with his girlfriend a day or so earlier. They were first seen together 5-6 months after Jeanne died.He knew her for years, them both going away on holiday with the Red Cross, for whom they both worked. He is selling the family home and moving in together with girlfriend soon, in the village where he was born. I can't help feeling upset about this, even though I wish him all the best.Enough about this.
Liz, tomorrow will be a sad day for you, hope you can cope with it. It is never easy to bury a friend, especially one you have shared nearly everything with, one who was always there for you, in god times and bad.
Carolina, what a great relief it must be to your husband. That poor man, fancy having to carry that horrendous memory all those years.Good that you tell others about it, it may indeed help them to come forward.
Mary, where do you put all the stuff that kind people give you? Do you have a large freezer?Do you bottle things too?
Joyce, thanks for your phone call yesterday, it did me good to have a laugh.
Deanna, Caz x 2, oh, just about everyone, I wish you all a lovely day, and hope you can all deal with your particular 'demons' and pain.

I have had a very bad day, which finished with daughter hanging up the phone and then sending a nasty text.

So am going to have a bath and bed.

Why do kids all think they had a lousy childhood? When you did the best you could with what you had. Her father NEVER paid child support, he has only been in contact every 3 or 4 years. But now he is better than sliced bread. Why, because she had a son and not a daughter. He always made sure she knew he wanted a boy, tough, we had a girl.

Okay, bath then bed.

Joyce dutch.... you shouldn't send cards, they must cost you a fortune love.
Nice to get them, but then feel guilty for not sending you one.
That does not mean that I don't care, it just means that I do not get out an awful lot.
When I do decide Io want to go out.... I would have to have a list written to tell me what I want or need.
BUT... you do know I care don't you?? XX

I'm trying to do a bit of.... you know what... that word we are not allowed to use on here.
I keep coming back on the pooter.
What I need is a *slave driver*
That would sort me out! ;-0)
Well everyone, good morning , have a lovely day and I will be back later.
lots of love
