Oh Joyce, what a very sad story about the other Joyce. As Carole says, her family must be grieving, so may have forgotten to let you know of her death.

Poor Joyce, I'm a bit stunned here.
About the cheques and the cash which has been pinched. It will be a post man no doubt.
I hate saying that because I know some great postmen, and have no doubt that many on here have family working in the post offices, but, I have had money stolen which I sent to my son when he was at uni.
Money was very tight, but we still try to help them don't we?
We ended up giving him a bank card and putting money in every week end, which he could take out almost immediately. At least then it could not be stolen.
Claire hope all is settling into place at work. How are you doing?
Well everyone I'm so sorry but my tea is ready and Allan will beat me if I don't go right away.... oh boy... he would be furious if he heard me say that ... tee hee.

What a mean thing to do Joyce.I used to send money to my daughter and g.children in france, through the post, but mostly by Western Union (far too expensive but safe). The money was stolen 5 times by a postman.Lots of post etc. was found in his home.I still tend to send smaller amounts by post, but wrap it in alu. foil, then put several sheets of writing paper around it.
It is sad news about J.Joyce, you must miss her Joyce.
It will be 2 years on 29th of this month that my dear friend Jeanne died. We were friends for 38 years, so can understand.

Lovely weather so far, must get some more work done in the garden later.

Allan is okay, but waiting for the results and then they will know what to do for him.... I nearly said TO HIM... but that is how I feel today... ;-0)

He has had a tough time bless him, but he takes it in his stride, although I have to admit that this time he is a bit fed up with it all.
Tony is doing okay'ish, but not back to normal yet.
We'll get there. Even in an argument there is a close loving bond..... but I am allowed to hate them sometimes... please tell me I can??

Just popped back on for a second.....am sitting here having kittens, well almost.
At the moment my daughter is heading up the M25 with a horse box in tow, carrying a georgeous Shetland pony who she is giving to my granddaughter, remember she handed over her beloved 'Sisko' to her also. Daughter normally belts up this motorway at 70mph but will keep a steady 40/45mph, keep your fingers crossed that all is well...ti's roughly 300 miles to Coventry.....Lots of news to impart on our Toby who is still doing what a dog has to do, plus.
