Agh....I wondered where Pollypoppet got her census info....it really is sooo hard to read.......thats what you get from GR then is it?

I only started cleaning up the census stuff a few weeks ago as I thought it should be copied and pasted as it is, so that they are all the same and people will understand

BUT......they is not all the same are they!

I know exactly what you mean though. When I first saw a census on here I couldn't make head nor tail of it. I was a newbie who had jumped in with both feet and had never seen a census before. (I didn't actually know that people used a census for research.........doh.....I know, I know, I am thick too!)

So.......on the VERY odd occasion I copy anything for someone on here, I put myself in their shoes and make sure that it's in a form they will, hopefully, understand....... AND I am good at deleting the useless things too......

Just been to a car boot sale and got a new Shaun the Sheep keyring so am one happy bunny. Don't often go to car boots but the one near us is just twice a year and v.good. Granddaughter pointed to something and said "WHAT is THAT?" It was typewriter. I felt 101 years old. sigh

The person with no. 39 in her name has made a fresh start. New name, all lookup threads deleted -- because she sees the problem and agrees 100%, and apologizes for the spot of bother.

I had just seen her new name in a thread before receiving that PM, so she's around and hopefully we'll have better times now. And no, I won't announce her new name, so as not to prejudice the minds. ;)

Didnt even know someone had no.39 in their name who was offering lookups had had a spot of bother,which shows how observant I am not,so that leaves me out in the cold.

Or I guess makes me less nosey than you lot..
