Morning everyone and thanks for your regular enquiries and PMs.

I HAVE to go to the Dentish this moirning :-((( so have phoned the Ward. The Charge Nurse said she had a restful night. No change, just in limbo; no better, no worse!

Your support means so much, especially when so many of you have distressing things occuring in your own lives.

Thanks everyone for your continuing interest and support. Mum was very weak as mentioned yesterday. Actually I got in rather a state and had to be 'seen to' by Staff Nurse. They suggested I had a day at home today, they would let me know if any change.

Of course, I have phoned them today and she is no different from yesterday. See what tomorrow brings.

Thanks for all enquiries and PMs - I know many of you have your own probs. without reading all my moans.

Hello Hazel....wise dicision to stay home today, it must be very waring and very emotional (hope the word waring does'nt sound harsh),and sometime we need a break.l'm off to my friends on Saturday, we have tried to persuade her OH to let us bring her back here with her daughter, but he won't let her go!!! l can understand in manyways cause it will completely disorientate her but we wanted him to have respite!!!

Been thinking about you and your Mum, Hazel, and hope the rest will help you find more strength to visit your Mum again and stay calm. Have you tried the Rescue Remedy yet, it might help you a bit.

Hi Hazel
A few of us have got the T shirt as Helen says and we know what you are going through.
We are all here to support one another and a few minutes of our time occasionally to wish fellow Members well makes us feel better too.
I hope your Mother is Comfortable and a couple of days away will help you.
You have to keep strong for her sake as well as your own health
I know we were going to see my brother ever other day as it is about a 4o minute drive each way for me. The Doctors and Nurses appreciated us going but told us once a week was sufficient other wise we would all burn out and have health problems. MY brother doesn't know one day from the other anyway. My sister and I felt guilty at first but it does help to cope with it better not having to be there as often.
I know you love her dearly Hazel but why don't you try every other day visiting just for a little while to give you a bit of a break. You will feel stronger if you do. it takes it out of you when you know you have to go every day
