Hi all

very late today

decided last night that we would buy a new dishwasher for the reno kitchen

went down to the appliance store after coffee this morning ............. took about 5 minutes to find dishwashers ............... about 3 minutes to decide on one .............. about 5 minutes to find a salesman ............... and were out of the store having signed away quite a few pennies

actually not all that many pennies

I wanted white

white is unfashionable

stainless steel is "in"

so white is much cheaper!

BTW

I always thought that feathers and down were not to be washed

that's one of the reasons that we have polyester fill pillows

I will have my usual black coffee please Sylvia.

I wanted a black dishwasher but that is even more fashionable so I settled for silver.

OOOhh ,

I only had one Danish Pastry this morning Sylvs as that lunch sounds SSssoooo wonderful, I have to leave lots of room for it.

I always have to google for something on the menu as I don't know what it is - this morning it was 'Nanaimo bars'
- they really do sound yummy, I might even make some myself.

It's not stopped piddling down all day.

I have also not stopped picking up feathers!

My dishwasher is over 5' high.

Fairly slimline.

Sort of stainless steel colour with some pink and white.

Quite efficient - cheap to run.

Has the extra capacity of being able to wipe round too!

Quite a cuddly chap really!!

It's eased off raining here. Usually go out for coffee after lunch but watching the Commonwealth Games opening wotsit.

Gee

Gee Report 3 Oct 2010 15:41

Adam an eve it...the sun has come out!

.....spits feathers out mouth

Dea

Dea Report 3 Oct 2010 15:48

Well the sun has not quite managed it here yet but it is 'thinking about it'!! - The rain is still there but it is definitely getting brighter!!

There is hope yet !

Dea Xxx

Bye the way - the 'thingy' bars at lunch were not as sweet as they looked - VERY yummy (thanks Sylvia), but I only managed half a one - I will save the other half for breakfast !!
