You won't have to go and buy new ones Ginns - If you think about it, they can't explode - the covers are permeable !!

Just like when you put meals in the microwave and you pierce the film lid to stop it from exploding !!

With feather pillows - I cannot believe that you have not had several sticking through the casing to annoy you??

When my son was little, he didn't have one of those 'confort blanket ' things but he used to put his little hand up inside the pillowcase to pick out the feathers which would always appear in a little pile at the side of his bed in the morning!

Thats why I get JB to make the bed....he ends up covered in feathers!

Tracey - I second and third that !!!!

I get an envelope and there is no-one there!

The only way I know I have a message is when I get an e-mail to tell me.

I open it and then, it seems, the envelope appears and will not go away!!

WHAT is the point???

Yeah and tumble drying pillows sucks too....I reckon it must be better for the environment to buy new rather than wash

.......the first one has been in for an hour and is still not dry!

Re Ginnys feather pillows.

I find it strange that veggies wont eat anything with a "face"and yet they lay their head each night on the feathers pulled from a dead duck or goose? Yuk.

I am not attacking or trying to be offensive,just have a discussion on it,I just dont see the logic and to me its hyprocasy and I couldnt do it if I were a veggie cos I was against killing animals and birds for food?
The same as veggies who wear leather shoes,belts ,coats etc and have leather seats in their cars or sitting room.

Now I shall hide behind my cotton fabric sofa and wait for the "fallout"from that bombshell....
