I dont object to people eating meat (Although it doesnt have to eaten in such quantity) I just dont like eating it myself

And we could have enough leather and feathers without breeding animals for food

We could use the hide and feathers from natural deaths...of animals that are bred for eggs and milk!

We dont breed cows and chickens for leather and feathers ;)

Yes - I have been thinking about her - and her grandchldren !!

Trying time for them over the next few days and weeks

Thankfully my little grand-daughter did not seem to latch on to the trauma that she saw - she didn't say anything about it to me the next day, which she would have done if she was still worried about it !!

The accident we saw was not quite as bad as it appeared but even so, there was a 32 year old lady who died in the crash and she was in a car with a 9 year old girl who was apparently unharmed!!

I just worry that even though this poor child was unharmed, she will be traumatised by the fact that the person in the car with her (mother??, or at least someone quite close, has died.)

Our best wishes, I am sure, go out to her and her relatives!!

I'm fine and detached from all funeral arrangements thank goodness...done too much of that in my time! However, son has phoned to say that he has been asked to deliver the eulogy so is coming to ask for advice.....!


Children and their mum have gone to the rugby final - I think their team is winning at the mo..


Daughter temperamental today, so it's a bit tense.


Just whizzing around the boards catching up with the non-repliers!
