Welcome to our new posters.

I managed to get OH to put up the Christmas lights finally. It looks very pretty. We brought a stack last year after Christmas at half price. We brought two sets that are solar powered and they work amazingly well, so will get more this year at the sales.

We are going away on Thursday so I can finish my shopping,.

Have been very down and starting to pick up a bit now. There has been so much sadness this past year I think it caught up with me,

I will sort photos and send them off sometime this week,

Love and hugs

Have been clicking on the 'add' thingy, but can't see where to add a reply to.Am trying the 'reply' thingy now.

Thank you Ann & Joyce for your concern. Will hopefully know more tomorrow. It is a relief in a way, to finally kow why I have been feeling so ill for a very long time.Nowadays, even getting up of a morning makes my heart race like mad.

Sorry for not posting here for so long, but I am not too good at opening up to others. Maybe that's why things get on top of me.

Ann (of Glos) kindly offered to 'listen' whenever... so I have been sending her p.ms. It is sooo good to unburden yourself outside your 'loved ones', because they have enough to worry about already. My lovely friend Yvonne is also worried sick, she is scared she will lose me soon. I know and understand how she feels, after losing my other close friend Jeanne in 2006.

Joyce, thanks for your phone call this morning, it cheered me up, and it was good to also 'bend you ear' about certain things. Didn't realise you were already back from your trip, otherwise iIwould have phoned you to ask how it went.

Early start tomorrow. Will take my (lovely!!) sister's tip, will take nightie and wash bag to hospital, just in case they want to keep me in. Don't expect this, because they send you home in a couple of days, even after open heart surgery. She pointed out that it was a long way for my daugher to go, just to collect some things I may need. True!

I wish you all great peace and good health.

Whitenancy Report 16 Dec 2008 15:40

Thank you to those who have sent me such lovely messages i had forgotten what a great bunch of people you all are. I have got a Dr appt this afternoon and i am going to ask to see counsellor maybe its time i laid some of my skeletons to rest.
Hubby is being fantastically supportive but i still get scared after what happened with ex that history will repeat itself and that because and happy he will get fed up and leave i am not perfect.

I am always so hard on myself and always think that my imperfections cause everyone else to be miserable.

Had to come home from work cuz i couldnt stop crying cause my daughter was texting me saying that she was not coming home cause of me so had to go to school and sort it out with her, but i explained to her how i was feeling and that when you are depressed you sense of perception goes hence why i got the hump when she made a remark about my weight this morning (she is only 13).

And just to put the tin lid on things i have just realised that i forgot to back up my lasted version of my tree on FTM before the old pc died so got a lot of work to do to put back all that i have lost.

Hope you are having a better day than i am

Eileen, I am sure your heart racing will be down to your thyroid problem. Your friend is NOT going to lose you yet. Hopefully they will get you sorted on Wednesday so again lots of luck. and continue to PM me any time - I will always eventually catch up with you.

Whitenancy (Claire). sorry you have been having a rough time, hope the doctor is able to sort you out. Just because you had problems with your ex doesn't mean all men are the same. i am sure that you OH will continue to be supportive for you. I hope your daughter now understands that you were annoyed with her because you already felt down and her remark didn't help matters.

What a shame about your tree, still, not the end of the world and you can sort that one.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry that I have been away so long. I have been hiding away again.
I have had to rehome Zara, my GSD. I was & still am unable to walk very far & she was getting so bored just being curled up indoors all the time (only 3yrs old). She is now in a home where she gets lots of long walks.
I have also sold Eddie's chicken run & rehomed his girls.

I am not looking forward to Xmas as Eddie was here with me last year. I get so lonely being alone most of the time.

Hugs to all those that need them xx

Deanna, * chuckling at the fact that you are not ready for a long chat but have a lot to say. good to see you on here. Please just pop in for a few minutes every so often sow e know you are OK. Hope you are beginning to feel better. I wont breath on the keyboard in case you catch my cough. Had the blessed thing for two weeks now, would like to give it away but I wont give it to you!!

Angela, The 'firsts' are always difficult and being your first christmas without your Eddie it will be hard for you. Don't be alone though, don't hide away, there is always somebody here to listen to you and chat. Sorry to hear you had to re-home your dog but i am sure that it was the best thing to do even if hard for you. have you thought of re-homing a cat from an animal shelter. i don't know if you are not a cat lover but it would be company for you and wouldn't need taking for walks.

treehunter, a first for you too which is going to be hard. No doubt you will have many happy memories of your Mum to think about at christmas. My son and his family live in M Keynes, a very convenient place to live we
always think

I HATE Milton Keynes, ok if you have a car, got friends or was born there.

I dont have any of that.

I do have some family there, but since mum died i only have contract with one brother who lives there, The others well cant put it in words what i feel for them, Done some bad things to do with mum.

I have 7 brother and 2 sister, But now as far as i feel now i only have 2 brothers and 1 sister.

I just want to move back down to Heathrow where my kids and many friends are.

My sister who i am still talking to lives in Essex.

I hope any one comes on here more, as you say even if its a few word just to let us know how they are.

((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))to all of you

YorkshireCaz Report 18 Dec 2008 06:51

Well I'm here now Treehunter but it's not good news this time. Why does everything have to be up one time and down the next. I was so happy about my x-ray result then I had to see my oncologist yesterday. A different one yet again, she explained the first MRI was for radiotherapy, but, on looking at it they noticed something that wasn't on the last one I had. It seems there is some swelling of soft tissue at the bottom of my spine, to one side. They don't know what it is so she asked me to have another MRI with dye so they can tell what it is, they suspect cancer and it is pressing on my nerves to my legs. I said I would if it was after Christmas, she wasn't happy but she went and had a word with the top man and he said yes ok but, I have to ring them straight away if I notice anything slightly different about my legs or feet. My back has been extremely painful just there for the last three weeks so maybe I will find out why.

Lovely to see you back Angela, so sorry about Zara but maybe it was for the best. I'm not looking forward to Christmas so maybe I will join you on here for a while, it will be company while hubby is asleep.

Love and hugs to everyone.

Caz, I am so sorry you have had this setback to knock you down again when you were feeling so relieved. Maybe if we all send positive thoughts it will send whatever it is packing and you will have a further good result instead, will start sending the p.t's right now.

I will be around later on Christmas evening I expect, as once my son has left, o.h. will probably be asleep in his chair and I will be bored so will try and get on here and chat to folk.

Take care, Caz, and all,
lots of love
Lizxxx

Had a pm from Maximary which says lots going on, at home and work and she is run ragged, bless her. Wish I could wave a wand and help her out.
Also had a phone call from Betty Innisfree and she can't get online yet at home, and hasn't had much chance to get to the internet cafe so a bit fed up.

Let's hope next year is a better one for us all.

Sorry you have had bad news again.

Yes we have few good days, and then bang something else happen.People tell me it makes you stronger when you have things happen like. Well if thats the case i would sooner be bloody weak then.

Now as like most of you i live for each hour, if i make another day without anything happing, i think thats good.

Like today was on way to Kew, but knew i had to get few bits, so got off bus at Hounslow and walked into first shop and fell over, now in even more pain then i was when i went out. So had to come back home as couldnt walk very well.Done all my left side in,spine is now killing me and now my neck has started to hurt.

Hi all

I have been missing for over a week .I will be getting a ticking off from Carole !!!!

I couldn't stand the new lay out and it hurt my eyes so I stayed off for days.

Caz sorry to hear your latest news especially after such a promising result earlier .Lets all keep our fingers crossed x
I put your name in the healing book at church on sunday .

Treehunter this will be a difficult xmas for you without your mum and being on your own .As others have said we are always here to speak to you .Some of us do the day shift and Liz must have been a bat in a previous life as she holes about all night !!

Angela the same applies to you .Please know that Eddie will be close to you even if you can't see him .

I finally got my heating fixed so I had a lovely hot hot bath to celebrate .What a year of break downs thought that was the last but no my tele decided to die on me 2 days ago .Can you imagine xmas with no tele !!!!!! ( even though most is rubbish ) Well forced my son to come with me to MAKROS so I am now the proud owner of a huge thing which will take some getting used to .My cat thought xmas had come early as he had a great time playing in the empty box .

Next job today is getting my son who is terrified of spiders ( I don't like them either ) to go into the loft and get out the tree and decorations .So if you hear a loud scream you will know he saw one!!!!

love to all
