I am from york. I was born in Acomb hospital, spent my first 2 years at my nanas house in ogaforth. We then moved to acomb. Woodlea grove where my mother lived till she had a stroke in 2000. I am now living in Evelyn crescent, burtonstone lane where burtonstone school used to be. Vanessa

Hi Jan. I have seen you floating around here but too shy to say hello!! (If you met me you would disagree!!). I have not alwayed lived in York. I had a stint in Rochdale when i was young for 5 years but you always come home to the places you know. I have lived in this street now for 28 years!! I feel old now. Lancashire born and bred ....well up to 1974 when we became Cumbria! But I lived in Sheffield for 5 years so maybe a bit of dual citizenship! Love both counties. Cazx
