I have just taken a bag of unwanted things to the charity shop, had a good clear out as I dont want to clutter my new place up...

Our local Dunelm have some nice curtains reduced and there are loads of sales on so you should be able to find some bargains if you have some savings left. If not, just do things slowly and keep checking gumtree etc or put a wanted ad up on that site.

I still have lots to do but can't seem to get motivated....I finally have my lounge curtains! I have no savings left now, just have enough for a tv licence...Not sure when I will be getting internet but if I can find the library I will use their pc....

Im up bright and early, must finish my packing and start cleaning the cooker and kitchen cupboards!! oh the joy.......

Lord knows what I am going to do with all the empty boxes once I have unpacked as they don't recycle them in Melksham!! Will have to try and find someone who can take them to the tip....

I have to go to Trowbridge tomorrow to pick up my keys and be back here before 1pm...Theres only a train every hour toget back, then I have to get a bus, I hope i'm back on time for the removals men!!

Oh well onwards and upwards....

Thats the cooker and kitchen cupboards scrubbed to within an inch of my life!!

I'm just having a coffee break..It's such a nice day out if I have enough time I may pop into town and get Buddys food so I don't have to worry about food shopping for a week or so...

Try freecycle to get rid of the boxes, you'll be surprised what peeps will take!!

I had a text from Jules last evening saying


"Hi Liz, I'm all settled in now and the bungalow is looking nice and cosy... still got 20 boxes to unpack! I flooded the kitchen this morning as I didn't put the washing machine filter on properly! Saved me washing the floor... I also smashed the lid on my biscuit jar but apart from that things are ok. Army housing are being a pain so my housing association told them off lol"

I rang Jules back and she said the neighbours seem nice, several people have called to say hello and the old man next door, over 80 I think she said, called round to see if she was ok yesterday morning. She hasn't been out yet to find the library but will do so soon. She said Buddy is following her about a lot at the mo but will soon settle down.

I hope this move means a quieter happier life for Jules and she can make new friends and find new interests to fill her life, steer clear of men for a while Jules, they are trouble lol
