in next garden has 2 ferrets and one escaped last night, OH
was out searching our garden to see if it was there as has paid
us a visit before, not there this time, Rory goes mental when it's

Sunny but showery here. I mange to get a few more plants in pots in between showers.

Morning .hope you are well today All x a bit brighter up to now . must get my plants for pots sorted today. summer bedding.. bought a couple of plants astilbe .white flowers & Holly hock double yellow they were only £2 each or two for £3 really healthy plants . a bargain that .lost. some plants in the winter so trying something else for a bit if colour .. also have bought a Hydrangea pink .hope they get established . in the garden as they come up every yr . . got my pots done .,OH says he will put other plants in tomorrow .but that never comes :-( sat outside .just thinking about my Dad he would have been 85 today .he died 2005 .miss him . he was a gent always smart & loved life .. he had altziemers for nearly three yrs .to be honest it was a blessing .but i was so angry .why him ..he was a strong man wish they could come up with a medicine to help. he did have some at home .but nursing home stopped it.we had a full enquiry but guess who won the care home well hope you dont mind this on the thread .just miss him Bye for now Barbra x k

Barbra of course no one minds about you remembering about your Dad.
I nursed a lot of people with altziemers over the years, such a horrible
illness. my sil has altziemers and its' heart breaking to see a once vibrant,
beautiful woman with this disease.

hello all

Heavy rain yesterday, together with thunderstorms. It was very welcome.

We had to buy a new microwave oven yesterday as our other one packed up. It was only 16 months old but the 12 month warranty ran out in January...typical. As we only paid $100.00 for it, it was not worth getting it repaired as they charge $40.00 just for looking at it.

At least our new one has come with a two year warranty.

Morning how are you today ;-) a bright start .. a baby blackbird hit the window this morning .went to have a look .as it was on the floor .it was okay .just shocked .it flew away after a couple of minutes we have white stickers on the windows to stop them flying against them ..ah well . hope you are ok Allan if you look in . having a ride out to loch ken its beautifull round there . have a GDay Bye for Now Barbra x

Even more rain today :o))

A bit of damage to properties but not very widespread.

As usual our roof leaked but we will get it fixed together with our front windows which face West

I feel a lot better today in the back area, I pulled a muscle or two the other day and have been in a lot of pain, it stopped hurting so had a small go on my rower, later I cleaned my hens out, as I shovelled the last shovel full I twisted and my back went again, so spent most of yesterday resting, today it feels so much better :-)
Sorry I missed yesterday Barbra remembering your dad, happy memories are always so special, keep them close to you.
