Hello all

lol Emma. The flowers are indeed cyclamen. They grow like weeds here. All ours are self-seeded.

It is rather frustrating gardening here: no matter how harshly you prune things, or when, they spring back into life.

We have a small tree (at the moment) in the front garden which we need to remove before it becomes a big tree. Cut it down to ground level and it is now beginning to sprout again. So it will have to come out roots and all.

Conversely, we have a Curry-Leaf tree and wanted to grow some more. Sowed seeds when they appeared, took cuttings. Everything failed! Then one day we were tidying up just under the tree and noticed several little ones growing: the tree had self seeded :0))
