I 've been on holiday,Fuerteventura.I'm not normally a beach person,the odd walk along etc. but this was a 'beach' and I even went swimming it.
Hotel was right on it,really enjoyed it.

Speaking of winnings, I've had a small win here. My Seniors Card allows free travel on Buses in Pertg each weekend and between 9.00am and 3.30 pm on weekdays.

The same offer was not available locally although the bus company would give a concessional fee.

Now however, the free travel has been extended to most country areas, including Bunbury. I may just get rid of my car and use the bus more frequently. OH still has her car.

The picture (not a very good one ) is my grandfather.

We would still have OH's car but these days I feel that under our circumstances two cars are not required.

While I was still doing a bit of work, yes, we needed two, but not now.

More rain today which has been most welcome. We just need more!!

Yes, me back in 1970 on the big day! 41 years and no time off for good behaviour!

OH is currently in Perth, or rather, on her way back. She went to a large craft fair this morning together with my daughter's partner's mother.

They went by coach which cost $45.00 and that included the $15.00 admission fee.

We went last year and apart from petrol and entrance fee, parking in the Perth City centre for a few hours cost me $25.00, so the coach fare is a bargain.

They left at 8.00am and it is a two hour trip so would have got there about 10.00 am. Coach will pick them up at 4.00 pm and arrive back in Australind at about 6.00 pm.

As we can't guarantee the arrival time I'm making a cottage pie for tea so that it can keep warm in the oven.
