Silly Sausage Report 13 Feb 2010 22:46

Actually I have been to a met and told a couple of people before I didnt like this person, as I had met them before and found their behavior towards me rather strange, I did my best to stay out of their way until right at the end she found me, I was polite to her, and in my opinion she tried to belittle me it went down like a lead balloon I even asked if my friends if it was me taking it the wrong way and was assured it wasnt me.

Course we are Uggers. We all just natter and have a damn good laugh, usually at Hayley's expense, lol, a few drinks, some food (well in my experience paninis, but I haven't been to one at the Wetherspoons),

Thinking of coming along then?

Muffy, I never organised a meet but I hope that's how the London meets came across too - I know I met people I'd never spoken to on the boards and some of them became proper mates

I just had a thought. If you would all love to meet me - and I'm sure you would - you can all chip in and send me the airfare and I'll come to the Peterborough meet. I'll need a bed of course and decent food:-))

Hayley, I know who you mean, and yes I felt embarrassed for you...but hey we live and learn. Some people don't like others taking the limelight...LOL

How do we know, that lovely person who served you in a shop last week,or that wonderful nurse who was a diamond,,,hasnt been a pain on here?

anyone at any meet could be a real horrible person at heart,

what better way to get anything off your chest if you need ,,,,,,,is meet someone in real life when you can do justice in reality.......... than words on a screen..

Whirley Report 13 Feb 2010 22:52

I am courteous to anyone I meet in real life, if they have a problem with me then they can do one of two things..

1) have the b@lls to say what it is ie what's their prob and we can discuss it in an adult fashion and try to solve it.......if they're not prepared to .

2) they can leave the room

my experiences of peterborough are all good

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 13 Feb 2010 22:58

And I daresay you would be more than welcome LadyAugusta. That's what the meets are for, to get together with like-minded people.

I haven't been to a full London meet, but I'm sure they are as much fun as the others from what we see on the boards after.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 13 Feb 2010 22:59

Mmmm.....not wanting to push the point but..... not many people have donated money to send me to the P'borough meet. Are you trying to tell me something....sob.
