late hello and nudge.I had computer problems all day

A very early good morning to you :)

Knee, hip and thigh playing up,waiting for the painkillers to kick in.

I could go for a walk around the block, street lights are still on, but peeps will think I'm nuts if they see me, also hubby doesn't like me going out at this time...Doesn't bother me walking late or early in the dark ,used to doing it with the dog. It's only me I have to worry about, and carry something weighty in my bumbag !
I am more concerned about being in the house alone in the day!! Open the door to some one iffy and you could loose all your possessions !

Hope you had a good Saturday, the shops are getting very busy now leading up to Christmas. I hate it,peeps have lost the real spirit of Christmas and it' just spend, spend spend !!!

Going to have a walk down the drive a few times and look at the stars,bet it's frosty and cold tho.

The stars were beautiful when I walked up an down the drive very early this morning, and the moon was still out at 7pm tho it was light.
It was a lovely day too.
Won't be late tonight, I'll be too tired to feel the aches !!

Beautiful blue skies but rather nippy here !
Heating is on, it's on the thermostat and it is still on at 20 degrees, going to put on another layer of clothing !!

Glad Ava is well on the mend Paula :).. I'd rather be ill myself than see the little ones suffer .

morning,have got Cara and Ava to entertain all week as it is school hols.
Had an awful headache during the night so didn't get much sleep again
sick of aches and pains.
Heavy rain today....pup wouldn't go out in the yard lol. She gets her first injection this week.(Thursday)

Been grey and wet all morning, in fact it's gone black now... making feel colder than I am..heating about to go on !

Hope your headache has cleared Paula, that's all you need with looking after 2 little ones, hope you have had a better nights sleep too:)

Another grey wet day:(

Hubby's nearly finished tiling the bathroom, 2 plumbers have let us down :(
Re bathroom refit.
It's not just a mere change of new fitments into their existing place, we want a Shower unit where the toilet is now, and the toilet and vanity unit /basin put on the wall where the bath is now !

It's not rocket science.. and they say self employed peeps are going out of business!!

I have one plumber coming at 4pm today and another at 9am tomorrow for quotes...hopefully !

Sorry to hear you have some family probs.. been there, whatever they are I wish you well.
Don't leave it so long next time:)

Crossed wires with the plumber, on their behalf, for 4pm, he didn't come and I didn't like his mothers attitude on the phone when I asked at 5pm if he was still coming. Didn't tell hubby I had a funny feeling about her, not to cloud his judgement.
Other plumber arrived this morning at 8.33am, had a long chat with hubby about what we wanted doing, seemed keen and ideas on how he would do it, I don't care what the price is now I just want it done !!

what a miserable wet day.So dark.
Hope all are well.My friend is having a new bathroom suite fitted too $andie.
She is having the bath taken out and a shower cubicle put in.She left the builder/plumber the keys as she has been to her daughters in Cheshire for the week but he still isn't finished and she said this morning there is no door on.Not that thats a problem really as she lives alone lol.
Hope you have had a good time visiting your mum Maz.

Well the plumber who came on Sat at 8.30am,has given us quote of £600...cheaper that the guy who originally put in our other suite, which hubby thought was a bit high priced !... and has given us a start date, so fingers crossed and every thing else that can be .lol

wet and windy i have been catching up with chores here just doing the worship list for sunday

Wet and windy here too !

Must get on with my chores , spent most of yesterday phoning around for a 2 panelled arched white door for my airing cupboard, and trying to sort out a £66 bill O2 say I have made in one call !!!!

I'm on contract with them for 18mths with 120 mins free calls a month @ £20 a month but is redeemable every 6 months when you send in your bills so the phone will only cost me £20 for the 18mths
They say I was on the phone for over 6hours to our local Tesco...no I wasn't !!
They say that the call was at 11.09am on 19.10.10, but on further questioning to them they admitted my next call was at 11.10 the same day. So as I explained to the them the £66 call was totally impossible, they can't understand it and have passed it to their engineers for investigation !!..it's not rocket science is it. I still have my pay as you go phone which I used to phone the plumber and am seeking repayment from them for the cost of that call :)
Oh I love it when I can get my teeth into something when I know I am in the right, tho I am not argumentative, hate arguments and bad feelings but I won't be walked over.
Will let you know the outcome .lol
