Good morning all,
Daff will try and remember to bring a photo, you could try to remember too and remind me later!!!! ribs and salad sounds nice, glad the weather is good for you but hope it is not too hot for our garden. Got up late so slow start today, just off for a walk down to the Sunday market.

Weather lovely here in Hereford today JB was brill and we even got to see David Tennant as well from a short distance(he was in a little box on top floor) as he was there to watch also and another actor from the series Torchwood was also in the audience.

Unfortunately we arent able to have a honeymoon we both have to go back to work on the Monday but we will try and get a weekend away later in the year.

Must go feed my tribe then got a few plants to put in pots.

Like the sound of your dinner, ours isa roast brisket, roast spuds/carrots,parsnips and corchette (sp) (you know what l mean...lol), probably should done it tomorrow too as l'm boiling hot....pheww

Been to a car boot sale at Ross with a neighbour, got a mirror, hand made £4.50 l knocked him down from £6.00 and 3 toys for the g/children, ooo and to plants, so l'm right chuffed:o)

Taff....we gave up growing veg in the garden yrs ago, too much hassle with slugs....ewwwk...lol apart from tomatoes, an old chap gave Vic one the other day so thats in the greenhouse:o))

Jude, I think Star's vows renewal is the same day as the meet.

We have just been to a table top sale, strange we think we are the only ones who do this but here in Tenerife they apparently have car boot sales as well. This one had lots of stalls and loads of stuff, I bought a couple of books.

Evening all... just on my way to bed....... we have been busy today, and hasn't the weather been glorious? I have had a lovely but tiring day... out in the garden in my shorts and cozzie, no less, lolol

Ann, the weather forecast is for rain in this area... and yours often has similar, so hopefully there will be just enough of the wet stuff to keep your garden looking it's best... when do you come home, now?

Jude, I am keeping my fingers crossed for fine weather, too.... but don't really care, lol.... I shall enjoy myself, anyway, come rain or shine!!

*tuts* at Taff... so that is where all the taters in Wales have been disappearing... I had to try three stores before I got any... our local Asda was out of them for days..... tsk!

Maz, yes, the forecast is good for your neck of the woods.... here it's for thunder and possibly torrential rain, possibility of localised flooding!! Now take out the torrential and the flooding bit... I still reckon we're in for a drenching down this end of Britain, lol

R is out finishing off.... Hunky Gardener will be here tomorrow... usually around 8.30 to 9am...... I do hope the weather is kinder to him than the last time he was here!!

I am in two minds... spring clean downstairs, or move my puter down there... I haven't bought a desk yet, so it'll mean taking a dressing table down there... so I might give that a miss...... I like moving furniture, but hate dusting and polishing, lol!!

Afternoon Daff, sorry if my typing goes a bit " skewiff", but I've spent all day up till ow , when it started to pick with rain, on my hands and knees, trying to scrape off Moss from hardcore !!! with a paint scraper, its done my knuckles no end of good!LOL. I look like I've been bareknuckle fighting!

Oi!!! and FORGET moveing furniture around! just leave your puter where it is, till you get a desk! Have you had a look at argos? Son got me mine from there, and they have a large range, the nicest I've seen though is in Jax house!!

Ann Glos, did you ever find out what the "script" above the house was about? cant wait to hear!
Anyway I'me off now to try to do something with my hands...... probably washing up!!LOL
All I can say now is... thank gawd for the back space button!!

Afternoon Daff and all:-) Just back from work (I got Friday off instead of Monday) and the sun has finally come out! Yesterday was amazing, hot and steamy but today a bit better. Just having a mug of tea and a nosey around. Hope all is well in your various worlds:-) BC XX

hello well we have the rain now but have done quite a lot so not too bad

Evening all... I am off to bed... been busy all day, swearing at the living room and kitchen... fortunately we had visitors (mum and one of my sisters, mum and dad had rowed, so sister was preventing us from being orphans by keeping them apart for a while, lol) which meant that I didn't bring my pc downstairs... don't want Taff throttling me when she sees me, lol ;¬))

The weather has been close but no rain until this evening..... had a phone call from Hunky Gardener to tell me that skip arrives at 8, equipment at 9, and him sometime between the two..... and if my soil is dry, could I put the sprinkler on it for an hour.... soil still wet, so no sprinkler required. I am sooooo excited, I don't think I shall sleep much tonight, lol

Well, must at least go and try to sleep... this is better than a holiday, this is!!

Bet you have had some wonderful dreams Daff, in anticipation of hunky gardener lol hope it all goes to plan and your garden continues to progress into the place you want.
For some odd reason I dreamed of Gordon Ramsay on Sunday night, don't particularly like him but we were really good friends, not like that tsk!, but like good neighbours and met up at some function where he dragged me in to help lol I don't know the things our brains do to influence our dreams lol

Enjoy your day and that goes for everyone, raining gently here all night so hope it dries up before midday so o.h. goes back to work on his bike, I need the car later on!

Ahhh be still my beating heart...why it's Hunky Gardener Day! lol Daffy you must be all of a do da and I do hope he makes everything look even more beautiful in your garden. Here, it is raining steadily and it looks likes its down for a while. I am trying to make holiday in June and Wedding in August plans and getting a bit confused. So I shall do it this evening:-)

Morning Everyone (only just!!!!)

just a fleeting visit to say that I hope everyone is ok! Daff - hope you haven't been overdoing things......!

I had no internet....or phone......for a week - I've had to talk to my husband! however....the veg patch is looking fab, as I've all this time to do stuff! Am gonna have to catch up on this thread....and the others!
