Derek, you get brilliant results for people on here with Derbyshire queries. But, and I am saying this in the spirit of joviality, do you have a counter-part who does Whittlesey, Cambs, or have you any suggestions. As you might gather, I am at desparation point, brick wall, don't know where to turn from here, and any other euphenisms, you can thinks of. |

thank you Derek. There was a Helen born to William and Elizabeth Nightingale My cousin many years ago gave me a copy of the baptismal records that this is on. I think it is 29 December but would you believe, no place and no year. But the IGI gives 29 December 1805 Belper which ties in with my Ellen's dob in later censuses. However this is an entry by a member with no batch number. |

Hi Mary...Just had a quick look ,,more later hopefully..There are three separate Thomas and Ann Hudson entries in the bakewell register....two of them are too early but i do have children that don't match up to your information.and aince the Baptisma end at 1841 there is no John b 1844. |

Derek, Ellen was born in 1805 though. I think there is an earlier marriage of a William Nightingale to a Mary Timpany, that is a member entered one on the IGI. |
