Hi Lorraine,
Thank you so much for all of the info, its fantastic. I knew little bits but this is great.
I thought you would like to know Edward James Roberts born 1880 died in 1937, he was shot while working as a Deputy Sherriff.

Kind regards
Sian

Hi Lorraine,
The only details I have on Anne and Llewellyn are
Anne was born 8.8.1871 in Dolgellau, Llewellyn was born 1868 in Holyhead, Anglesey. Anne emigrated in 1904 she married Llewellyn in Wisconsin, USA and they divorced in 1920, thats all I know.
1901 census has his occupation as Sailor. Hope this is of some use.

kind regards
Sian

Hi Lorraine

Could you do a search for John Allison Fallon in the states please.
I only have Ancestry (uk) but he does show on Ancestry.com, ( WWII 1942 records and USA passport applications.

John Fallon's address would of possibly been Cook County Illinios

Thanks

Meriel

Lorraine,

Many thanks for that, it could be them but Hopkins isn't such an unusual name. I have no info on their child, not even if boy or girl, but understand the birth was before their marriage which was in June 1899.

Please could you see if you can find any information on DORA IRENE ROUGHTON, she was born Warwickshire 1919 and left the UK in 1951 to go to Canada, she married over in Canada but i have no idea of her husbands name (no children i believe).

And also if you do not mind could i please have the 1901 or 1911 census for DORA A GARDNER (1896/7) Lancashire
Any info you may have greatly appreciated.

Susan

Susan Report 22 Jul 2010 12:37

Lorraine, thank you for your search.
Is it true that sometimes a group went on board and only one person was actually registered? or maybe he came over on freight not actually a lsited passenger? just a thought,
He does not appear on any UK Census before 1891. Don't tell me this is going to be yet another mystery and brickwall? lol

Hi Lorraine

I am back again !

Is there anything on these two marriages-Ontario Canada

Adolphe Debrusk and Mary Rousak=sometime 1850-1865-first child found born 1866

and
Michael Debrusk and Annie Sterzic-around 1890s ?

Cheers

Lorraine

Lorraine Report 23 Jul 2010 00:33

susan

as far as i know all passengers are listed but may just be listed a mr or mrs kelman for example, He will be listed someone but unfortuantly i cant find him on the records i access to, maybe you could ask for a lookup for russian passenger lists on records thread, i couldnt see him before the 1891 either, so the time frame would be between 1882 and 1891 hope you find them good luck .
