It's not you Deanna, the computer does these things on it's own I am quite convinced. It often delets what I've written, so frustrating, I never remember to 'save'.
Give your self a hug.

Hi all, some busy folk on here even if the words do get deleted, it's happened to me sometimes Deanna and I know just how annoying it is, the air goes very blue!

Mary, can just picture the mess with the red hair colour but another story for the family memory book. Gareth is doing very well, bless him. Bet the whole lot of them had fun with the danceathon - hope it tired them out a bit!
I know how you feel about being woken up when you are in a good sleep, happens to me a lot, if it's not the phone, it's some idiot outside, the road goes up to within a couple of metres of the house and is the turning end of the culdesac so the world and it's wife make noise there at all hours of the day from early in the morning with the milkman to people leaving their car engines running while they get ready for work, that's next door and the fumes from his truck come up through the bedroom window. He isn't the sort you can speak to about it either, thick as two planks and no consideration for anyone except himself, his dogs run all over the gardens out front and he does nothing to stop them. We have sprayed Jeyes fluid round the front door to try and deter them from piddling up the bush at the side of the step.

Hope the gardening goes well.

If it doesn't rain today we will be going on our annual visit to some bluebell woods nearby, they are at the end of a lovely garden and there are plants for sale, you would love it Mary, and cream teas and a bric a brac stall where I always find things I want and o.h. makes a fuss about me getting them lol Oh well why change the habits of a lifetime?

Mary thank you for your post, it put a smile on my face I have not had for 3 weeks. Could just imagine Sarah digging holes everywhere, also the red dye everywhere. What a treasure you have with the children, you must be so very proud.

I am doing baby steps to get better, I was trying too hard and went into a slump again. So, not much H@#$! work and have been working on my tree and spending a bit of time on Records Office on GR. Great to take my mind off things.

Deanna I do the same all the time, very frustrating. I gathered 3 lots of census data for someone the other day, then went to edit with some birth info and deleted it all instead. Was not happy as was difficult to find in the first place.

Hope Carole is feeling better with her Bronchitis, the amount of coughing I am doing I have a feeling that is what is going on with me at the moment as well.

Love and hugs to all

Gail

Hello eveyone. What a good week it has been for weather. Frustrating if you cant get out and enjoy it like some of our poor members. I feel a little better today, and have managed to get some work done! Dead tired now though. To everyone who needs it I send love, and a hug to anyone who feels they need one of those. God bless.

Hi Everyone

Well i didnt want to come home for the week, But i just rang a mate to see if she wants to meet up this week. She said how will you get to me they have STOPPED THE BUS THAT COMEs ON YOUR ESTATE.

Well just gone on Milton Keynes website for buses and yes there is now no bus that comes here anymore.

I now have to have a 10mins walk which on same day will be 15 to 20 mins walk to next estate, which isnt going to be easy for me. to get a bus to go anywhere now.

I CANT WAIT TO MOVE.

Its not fare for anyone who lives here, as have kids going to school, collage and also others who work as well..

And they want to call the place a CITY thats a laugh.

I would under stand if i lived in a little village outside mk but i dont.

I am so CROSS.

Gail did you send me your cough??? Feel rotten, hard to be 'up' today, won't list all the symptoms, but Carole you'd understand.

I went on Freecycle a few days ago, asking for some 'ground cover plants'. Someone offered so I went there yesterday morning and she presented me with no less than 8 grocery bags full of periwinkle. I've got 3 bag-fuls planted, now going outside to deal with the remaining five. It does look much better in that corner and the fresh air didn't do me any harm. Came in last night dirty, tired and achy, and went into the massage tub (Jacuzzi-type), just reached the right water level for the jets to be submerged, and the hot water ran out. Didn't stay very long as it wasn't warm enough but it did help a lot. Then, where is the camera???? I couldn't get out, the bath salts had made the bath extra-slippery and there I was. miniMary had to help haul me out of there, she was giggling too hard to be too helpful, the audacity of it - laughing at her grandmother.. There must be a better way, no point in having a Jacuzzi if you can't get out!!!! Think I'd better invest in a handle that clamps to the sides.
I've called in to work again today, with the widespread flu fears, no point in taking my compromised immune system into a place where there may be infections, and other vulnerable people.

Looks like it's going to rain, I feel better outside in the fresh air, so I'm going to try and plant the rest of the periwinkle before th rain starts, where only long grass and weeds were growing before. Set myself an hour, then in to rest.
Hugs to those who need them today, miniMary gave me one this morning, so I'll pass it on.

Mary sorry about the cough, when I get a coughing fit I sit on the loo, so also know what you mean. I am spreading viruses all over the world via the net.

I also have a spa bath (but with a heater as well) I have handles built into the tub and to grab handles on the walls. I only have a bath if OH is home or get in before he is due home from work. He has only had to help a few times and that has been when really unwell. The handles are a good investment. OH even uses them now, but only because he had a bad fall in the tub, silly bugger.

Doctor is too busy to see me as too many sick people about with the flu, so OH went to the Pharmacy and they gave him some cough mix and other stuff which doc has been telling people to get. Have bronchitis now so will just have to fix itself.

I looked up periwinkles on the net, what did I come up with? Funny looking snails!!!! Gave me a laugh, could just see Mary scattering snails over her garden, well they do multiply. Finally found the flowers and so pretty, should look lovely.

Love and hugs

Gail

Hi Gail, I've come in for a break, filthy again, but got about half of it done, moved some 'hens and chickens' (not your type) and some 'creeping Jenny' and 'siberian bellflower' from other areas so should be nice once established, all low-growing, a bit of colour in the corner round the old tree. it must be pretty old that tree, the lilac is supposed to be 200 years old and the maple is so big I can only get my extended arms round half-way. Ultimately I'd like to fill the area with ground cover, less grass to mow, plus a brick or stone seating area, it's at the front of the house but round the side, quite private actually, morning sun only so there's shade in the afternoon. That's a blessing in the summer. Going back out now after 2 glasses of water, for another half hour then I'm coming in for a while to rest.
Enjoy your day, I'll look at getting some bath handles or bars.
hugs
Mary
