Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 3,373 Send Message	That has to be the biggest under-statement ever !!!! O.h. and I regularly watch a fly-on-the-wall programme about the police. I have to say they have all my sympathy. They spend time and energy catching criminals,writting reports just to have these law-breakers get a petty fine and a slap on the wrist. The judgements handed down all seem pathetic and in my opinoin in a lot of cases no way reflect how serious some of the crimes are. Lin x

	What gets me is they were saying a couple of months ago they are thinking of lighter sentences for thiefs, and violence because the prisons are too full.....yet they are now calling for longer sentences for drunks......??
