I'm not going to get into the Kingdom of Heaven apparently which is quite disappointing. A colleague of mine is on the increasingly popular Alpha course and he's been informed that my sexuality will debar me. He's not sure if I'm going to a special chamber in Hell or if I've got to wander in eternal limbo. What seems a bit unfair is that my family, partner's family and my friends won't be allowed either because they don't condemn our relationship or lifestyles. I'm also worried about my Gran who died in the belief that we'd all be together again one day. Hope she kept a receipt.

pmsl - well they're not making Heaven sound very nice and christian are they? Still hell will be quite nice if all you lot are coming. What I wonder is do you reckon because my vicar is gay friendly I will get in. Me Gran will be gutted if I don't.

Hi Lynn It's a Church of England based educational course mostly discussions teaching people how to know their religion better. I think that's part of the problem Jacquie - a few years ago according to a report I was reading, the Alpha course leader seemed to demonstrate an inability to distinguish between homosexuality and paedophilia. I might join when they get to Omega Chrissie and put them all right lol :)

I believe that Gerri Halliwell is a big fan of the 'Alpha' course so where does that leave her with her mate Elton I wonder lol. If heaven is going to be that boring, I know where I want to go!

Jacquie & Deanna It's actually quite worrying how judgemental some of these people are and it does worry me how it can disturb 'unacceptable' people and their families. I'm really lucky in that I believe I know better than they do and don't give a flying flap what they think but I have seen people struggle with other peoples opinons of them and it can be devastating. I would like to know that Ginny:) I think I'm right in saying that the Alpha course discourage discussion of the subject now to avoid condemning it. Mind you if Geri Haliwell is gonna be sat on a cloud singing I really don't wana go lol
