I enjoy a good reasonable debate, but would hope that if my views offended anyone they could let me know and the matter could be resolved in an adult manner and through the privacy of Pms rather than bring an argument to the boards where people would inevitably take sides (human nature) !

I'd much rather someone disagreed with me on the boards Kris - don't like receiving pms objecting to things I have posted. But we're all different:)

Yes I agree David, sorry I don't think that I made myself very clear - I am all for open debate, what I meant was that if I personally offended someone I would rather them let me know. It's a very difficult one !

Perfectly good thread with lots of valid points but even here some people seek to use the thread as a forum to try to strip others of their dignity. I don't post very often and am relatively new here but haven't escaped some nasty pms from some members for posting my opinions. I post my opinion first and if someone disagrees then I will argue my corner, but am happy to accept if I am shown to be in the wrong. I prefer to do that in the round rather than have nasty pms turning up in my message box.

How interesting to see you, Green Sleeves. I'd only noticed you prior to this on the success board ... :-) PS I was being friendly ... :-)

Sorry Maid Marion Fitzwalter, Next time I post I'll make a point of alerting you so that you are up the minute as to who posts on your forums.

I t seems that I may have inadvertently offended by putting up an innocent thread last night. Can longer standing members realise that some of us new comers are not privvy to what has gone on in the past and may innocently wander into a mine field. I was asked very nicely if I could remove the thread and did so with no animosity. :-)
