I've been to the train station, trains are still running from Leeds to York. Only trains from Doncaster and Sheffield that are not running at the moment. The fair is undercover, so we shouldn't get that wet. I've got my brolly ready and waiting by the door for in the morning. Sue, I will meet you in the cafe in York station about half 9. Hope to see evryone there, it should be a good day! Gem:))) |

Hi Sue The Virgin trains are still running. GNER are hit and miss towards the south. There is a replacement bus service for GNER from Wakefield to Doncaster. Will pm Jan. Gem:))) |

Sue I am going straight to fair as I can get a lift there.Will have my mobile on so we can make contact Looking forward to seeing everyone Weather has been lovely today blue sky and sunshine all day lets hope we have a nice day tomorrow too Will post on here as soon as I am up and about in morning to let you know what weather is doing here There is still alot of water on the race course so you can still go mud diving/sliding or have a mud bath LOL but as we will be inside and do not need to walk on the grass we will all be OK See you in the morning Love Jan |

The fair seems to be packed out by lunchtime and finding a seat for a rest and a coffee was a challenge in itself for us all last year Haddock even had to go for a feed while there ( must admit it was Livvie that wanted food or at least that is what Jeanette told us !!!!!!! LOL ) Love Jan |

Hya Maureen 10 and I are back from the FHF and Yorkshire meet------left the drunkards in the pub---as usual------that is Mommy,and OH,Jan and OH---not that I am spragging,you must know that it would be them---lol. BC Oops forgot to have a Baileys for you---sorry will have one with you next time. I was lovely to meet Helen Walsh,Gem,Gloryer/Little lost cousin,Jan,Sue,was a small but select crowd and we had a laugh. Rain wasn't too bad,and Thanks to Mommy's other half for ferrying us to York,then from Fair to the Pub. |

Home at last, Held up in Leeds for a Bomb scare Police and Fire brigade all over the place, Crowds of people outside the Queens Hotel in front of the station for the incident. Thanks to Gemma,Jan and Del,Jenny(Mommylonglegs)and Chris,Ann from Darlo,Maureen 10,LLC(Gloryer)and Helen Walsh for a great time that I had and for all the laughs.
