"The Maybot is in need of a fire escape
Looking desperately around the exits are blocked "

This, if I had less feeling no empathy and disregard for the happenings not only this week but again today in Portugal where***fire*** has been the cause of untold heartache for so many.
.One could belive posting that might me look a clever but a reality check would make me see what an idiot I'd look on the www.

Perhaps others see no wrong with it.?

Deletion isnt gone into the ether. ;-)

Just in on the evening tide... Chugga Chugga sometimes power craft have their strengths esp when there is not much wind. London tomorrow looks to be a bit sticky so I ll work down here sipping at an ice cold beer lazy Monday afternoon.

When I made my original post about Mrs May I had no idea that the forest fires in central Portugal were so bad. I love the country esp around Porto. So sad, year in year out the life is being sucked out of the lines of hills.

I cannot see any link to the man made tragedy in London though. Like many before her May can best serve her office by leaving it. That is certainly the view of some senior Tories.

I do not myself support any of the English parties they are all living in la la Land. The only one who looks competent is Hammond. Boris would not even pass the low bar for competance set by Abbott.

Ah well tomorrow Davis and co will be engaged in the first minor brexit skirmish. No casualties expected.

A bientot

"I cannot see any link to the man made tragedy in London though."

Seriously.......you can't?.....

"The Maybot is in need of a fire escape

So far we've been told of people struggling to get down the one staircase/fire escape which we're told was partially blocked even before the dying started blocking them...

Still can't see why your comments might have offended enough for someone to RR you?

Rolo,

All I can say, apart from agreeing with others, is 'Yaawwnn' - your predictability, insensitivilty and egotism knows no bounds.

As I said the other day Rollo.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE LIVING HERE WHY DON'T YOU MOVE TO THE EU.

You may have a better reception over there with your views.

Sue, perhaps he isn't welcome ;-)

Amazes me that such a busy professional person (who also sits on various panels/committees/boards) has so much time on their hands to posts insults on GR.

I'm retired so have plenty of time to do that :-D

Well, blow me down!

Just checking on here while waiting for coffee to perc and now it looks as though Dermot has started to delete his posts too.

Dermot, I replied to one of yours at 14:16 yesterday and your original post about TM has disappeared (but not reported). It wasn't a reportable type of comment at all.

I always try to read yesterday's posts in order to catch up or as a reminder but when one finds items missing it does mean that isolated comments make no sense.

So, here I am asking.people to have the strength of their convictions. If you comment, read through before actually posting that comment because that is the time to delete - not when others have replied thereby interrupting the flow.

Go on, you know it makes sense!

I am well acquainted with the pervasive pertinacity of nonsense.

Amidst the tsunami of verbal diarrhoea & childish innuendo I have had to endure on reading just a handful of meaningless meandering threads, I am becoming as mad as a box of croaking frogs.

But, of course, being an Amadán, my bald head is also badly affected by our unexpected heat wave. Anyway, my opinions aren't worth a Boddle, according to some.

PS: A special ‘hello’ to RolloTheRed.

Caroline

Caroline Report 19 Jun 2017 12:08

IMHO Dermot your comments are as welcomed as any.

RolloTheRed

RolloTheRed Report 19 Jun 2017 12:11

Well Sue in Yorkshire that cuts both ways.

I myself think that Yorkshire has a lot going for it starting with Alan Bennett and going on to close rellies in Sheffield and the view from Wharncliffe Crags.

LOTSW is one of the funniest comedies ever only equalled on TV by Fawlty Towers and Only Fools n Horses.

If the 2017 voting figures are any guide T May and her benighted party are not very popular in at least two of the three ridings. "Powerhouse of the North" Tory slogan does not quite gel with the miserable Leeds to Manchester railway and bumpy refurbished trains.
