Good Afternoon Everyone :-) :-) <3
I didn't know Dizzi very well, but I know how much she was loved on the boards. So I think keeping this thread going in Dizzi's memory is a lovely idea, or starting a new one in her name as you suggest, should this one be taken away by GR. :-)
The lily was absolutely beautiful Patrick, and well named <3
It's dry but windy and not very warm here in South West Wales today. Grandson 1 (who lives with me) has gone camping with his friends until Wednesday. It is the first time he's been away from home, apart from a School Study Trip. He is 16 next week.
Pat, it was a nice surprise for you- having unexpected visitors! :-)
Thinking of all Dizzi's family and many friends<3
Love Jem <3

Hello Everyone
I just wanted you to know that I am reading ....... and I think it would be a beautiful tribute to such a brave, funny and much loved lady if we could somehow keep her thread running.
I am on holiday at the moment and am trying my best to keep in touch.

Morning all.
Lovely morning as I got up, temperature at 22 C. Decided to eat breakfast outside and spent a few minutes cleaning the table as it was covered in dust as usual. Prepared my muesli and took it outside and someone had left the gate open again and let the wind in. I sat down in the sun and suddenly a cold gust of wind hit me. I had all of 2 spoonfuls of muesli and that was my outside breakfast. Returned indoors to finish it. We now have a very strong cold wind and even though it's registering 24 C out there the wind chill factor is bringing it a lot lower than that. The patio door was open as I walked inside with my breakfast and 2 of our prints were blown off the wall, they weren't damaged but had to shut the windows up again. There are lots of very small oranges on the floor as the gusts tear into the orange tree. Just picked up 3 lemons off the floor but they are full size so we can use them. Really fed up with this wind it's coming from the wrong direction again - what's wrong with the weather at the moment???????????? :-(
Lovely link to some photos of Dizzi, thank you Patrick and Stu for sharing them with us. <3
Have a good day all <3

Hello everyone
A lovely day here in Yorkshire today. Warm and sunny and no cold wind (keep it where you are Pat please).
I agree the photo's of lovely Dizzi were a nice thought from her family and its good to see how happy Dizzi looks on them all. Such a very kind thought by Stu and Dizzi's family to share the photographs with us all. (thank you). I am still getting my head around the sad news. I keep expecting to see the BIG CAPITAL LETTERS from her.

Good morning all. :-D
I have decided that someone's got our weather and left us with theirs. Whoever it is please return it.
22 C overcast and a blustery, cold wind this morning. We should be registering top 20s C now and night time at about 22 C not daytime temperature. It'll soon be June and the weather is still unsettled, getting very fed up with it. Threats of storms on Thursday - whoever's got our weather, own up and hand it back NOW. :-(
Shopping today, OH coming, hope I can rein him in after my shopping cost so little compared to our shopping (OH's ideas of what we(he) need) ;-)
OH's back much better but still not right. He's gently getting back to normal.
All have a good day and keep a lookout for my weather. <3

Another bright sunny day down here in Sussex, my craft day so will be off soon.
Have made 150 meters of bunting just another 50 to make for wedding in July.
We are going to have a stall at a local Fair at the beginning of August, so need to get sewing. Have to make more owl doorstops, Dizzi fell for these & had my last 2. <3
We are getting a stock of peg bags, bag bags, tote bags & aprons.
I have completed 8 large toy Heffalumps, need medium & small + same of teddy bears.
My S in Law & I both made cot/pram covers/ snugglies for new babies in our family, now seen we have more requests for them. It is difficult as the materials are not cheap & we were hoping that we could make a few to up out takings at the Fair.

Morning all :-)
Fed up, outside and car look like they have measles. We had 3 sprinkles of rain and we were out shopping when the first happened so car got caught. It's a very dusty place because of the heat and no rain usually during summer, everywhere gets covered. You tend not to notice so much as everything is covered by the thin film. Do not move anything and it stays hidden ;-), when you move something you see the clean patch and are then aware how much dust there is :-(. Well the rain showers were so quick they just made spots in the dust on everything. OH says he's taking the car to the car wash it's such a mess. Can't do anything about outside as the wind is gusting again and it's 24 C. :-(
You have done well Carol and you'll be busy until Christmas by the look of it. It'll keep you out of trouble. :-D
Hope Solrosen is enjoying herself in UK.
All have a good day <3

Hello Everyone
Changeable weather around for us all methinks. Forecast to continue too.
Solrosen, I hope that you are enjoying your holiday and finding plenty to do.
Pat, did you manage to keep your OH under check at the supermarket. Hope his back pain continues to improve daily.
Sue, I'm a bit like you and keep expecting Dizzi to write her usual daily blog. RIP xx
Carol, you are going to be kept busy making your goods to sell in August. Your stall is sure to sell-out quickly as home-made items are very popular.
Enjoy your evening all.
