Of course all my votes went to Abby ..................Natalie could of had that in the bag with her show dance it was amazing but she over cooked it on her last dance and when they were running the VT my foot was well and truely aimmed at her over acting face on the TV screen.........

Well done little Mersey Bird. OH picked Natalie from week 1 - about 3rd week I picked Abby.

I felt that Natalie was less natural/warmth than Abby.

Last few weeks the dancing has been excellent from all but I hope to heavens they pick better music to suit the dance as they all did tonight in the next series.

Is it toooooooo much to hope for that I won't have to use the mute button and not for the music??????? ;-)

Natalie, you cant take anything from her, she was very, very good. And when the judges said so, did you see Susannah's face? Like a bulldog chewing a wasp.

She and Kevin were also very touchy feely. Always stroking the back of his hand when the results were being announced.

But, what a girl Abby was! I am so pleased she won.

I feel totally exhausted! I was crying my eyeballs out all through the two shows.

yeay Abbey won :-D after trying for ages I finally got through to vote for her and Aliaz......loved them dancing together.

OH wanted Natalie to win ( tbh her dance was amazing) but, she has a smug look and I warmed more to Abbey.....and of course she is a very good dancer :-D

Was it just me or did anyone else think Abbey was very nervous/jumpy in front of the camera tonight:-S

well I've just caught up with the results programme - voted three times for Abbey and wanted her to win all along, but have to say, strictly on dancing performance, I think Natalie should have won - that last dance of hers was superb - I think her personality lost it for her - she just wasn't humble enough, if that's the right word - she was far too cocky, whilst Abbey was like a child in a sweetshop

I'm gutted it's all over for this year - Saturday's will b very dull from now on

Natalie was never going to win she was my fav for the 1st few shows I thought she was brill and raved over her rumba early on in the series but then came all the over the top poorme and the drama had to take attention away from that fact she is a trained professional dancer, thanked gowd the public cotton on to her towards the end it was pretty obvious she hadnt improved or even peaked she couldnt :-D

Suzanna got on me wires tonight as well the humbe its all the Kevin act wore thing....loved Abbey reaction to win it was annouced she had won, when bruce had to tell her to pipe down... and Sophie hmmmm could of gone to the wire but Brendans atitude certainly didnt win her any votes...

So that its for another year thank you to MG for posting yet another fab thread and thank you to everyone for your interesting opinions and discussions <3

The recording of the programme would be very special for their daughter, Sophie, in future years.

Seeing her mum dance so well, as well as seeing her grandmpther and great grandmother. Something to add to the family heirlooms.

I was jumping about they annouced the winners.....and Itsmytelly said that means poor Aliaz will get a right donkey next year the Ann Wiccicomb or Vanessa Feltz of the series :-D

Well Ive put my dancing shoes in tissue for another year. The ballgown has been put in mothballs, and the fishnets are hanging on the line.

Thank you all for participating on the thread, I think we all agreed that the best person won in the end.

Maybe Patrick should not have gone last week, but hey-ho. At least the newsreader did not win.

The bookies must be pig sick, they slashed the odds for Susannah, but I think the others remained the same.

All over for another year, except for the Christmas Special.
