Silly Sausage Report 24 Nov 2013 12:24

ElizabethK ........ I too have picked up on Sophies OH thing too, after last nights dance she looked straight at the audience to were her OH was sitting and then the camera panned in on him, maybe that is why there is gapping in their ballroom it is if she is keeping her distance from him which is a shame because if she believed in Brendan he could take her all the way to the final, I actually said this to my OH whilst watching last night and then asked as you do would it bother him? He repiled no...........but it would if it was Pasha ;-)

I <3 Pasha

Oh dear it does sound that Sophie and her husband do not like each other being touchy with other people.

Dancing is all about touching and being intimate. Look at Jane Torville last week, she was being slung abount, and she was wrapping her legs around James, because that was required. It is only dancing, that is what they do!

If you cannot do it, then you should not do it! Mind you there have been a few couples pairing off in the last few years, but have a bit of confidence in your relationship!

so who's going to be thrown off tonight? I don't have a clue

GlitterBaby Report 24 Nov 2013 19:02

Ben might be in the bottom two but i think Mark will be saved again by the public

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 24 Nov 2013 20:13

hmm - so Ben and Kristina have gone - really was surprised at that - must say I never noticed either Ben or Mark making mistakes

Silly Sausage Report 24 Nov 2013 20:16

** Punches the air** Mark gets to stay for another week Yerrrseeee :-D :-D :-D

My top 4 for the final are :

Patrick and Anya

Ashley and Ola

Suzanne and Kevin

Abby and Aliaz

All four have improved throughout the series . :-D :-D :-D

edit as I have just read Ann's post : Really he lost timing shook his head couldnt get back and then lost focus .....he was awful :-(

Annx

Annx Report 24 Nov 2013 20:36

I think my 4 would be the same as Hayley's except I would swap Kevin for Miss FP. Kevin irritated me the same as Craig with constantly tilting his head towards the floor and tucking his chin in that odd way. I think Miss FP could be back in the running depending what dance she has next week.........agree the tears seemed a bit forced.

I thought Brucie's autocue had been switched off at one point.....fluff, fluff as MTG said. I'd be on tenterhooks if I was Tess, I mean, at what point do you step in.

Funny we all picked up on the Sophie thing with her hubby. I wonder if her confidence has been affected as she seems to have lost a bit of oooomph!

AnnCardiff Report 24 Nov 2013 21:38

I'm hoping Sophie gets the boot next week

I wasn't surprised at the result Saturday night but figure Mark could go next time (law of averages :-S )
I do like watching Ola and Ashley, think they look good together, also Abby and Aliazz....

Looking forward so much to this week's 'Strictly at the Musicals' :-D :-D

Just seen that Rachel Riley and her husband ( of 16 months ) have split up.they are calling it "the curse of Strickly" :-(

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 30 Nov 2013 20:23

Well thats more like it.....................

Patrick got a standing ovation even from the judges and rightly so ........

Sophie looked much together this week and even looked like she was at last enjoying herself.

Mr and Miss Smarmy pants , well said Le,n she doesnt look so wonderful now as the others have improved greatly , so glad she was marked correctly this week apart from Bruno :-|

Mark god loves a tryer and he has got my vote again this week, love him. <3

Abby wowwwwwwwww loved her dance and to me looked faultless and she got full marks so pleased for her.

Ashley awww the rumba really dont like this dance, dont think he that safe/

Suzanna has she peaked at Blackpool, the settee business was big risk :-(

A brief overview........ :-D

Best: Abby

Worst...Susannah

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 30 Nov 2013 20:37

Possibly Mark and Susannah in the dance off although Mark was very entertaining as usual

BrendafromWales

BrendafromWales Report 30 Nov 2013 21:21

I agree....possibly Mark and Susanna in dance off.

Does anyone agree with me that they have too many flashing lights in the new studio...?
It really interferes with my enjoyment when the floor is constantly changing colour and flashing.it clashes with the dancers.
Im sure others notice this . :-)

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget Report 30 Nov 2013 22:26

Brenda - the flashing lights distracted me big time last week. I wanted to watch the dancing not a flasing lights exhibition!

I was so pleased for Abbey and Aljaz tonight. Their excitement after the marks was infectious. She seems such a lovely, eager to learn, hardworking young lady.

hva e to confess to voting for her once in a while.

Don't know who will go this week - think that it should be Mark or Susanna (she made a few mistakes).
But knowing what has happened in previous years, I wonder if Sophie is safe, as in previous years, dancers who have danced below par seem to go out when they (finally) up their game again.
I think that Sophie and Brendan looked just great, so hope that this does not apply to them.

Re: Rachel Riley. She was often quite giggley during her time on Strictley, now that I know that she and her husband have split up, I wonder if her smiling and giffling was her attempt tohide her unhappiness?

Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 30 Nov 2013 22:51

I think Mark will go tomorrow I think if he is in the dance off he wont survive another week, he is ready to go, possibly Mark Suzanna or even Ashley could be in the bottom 2 and next week Natalie god willing :-|

Mauatthecoast

Mauatthecoast Report 1 Dec 2013 00:13

I think it'll be Mark and Susannah in dance off.

The standard is really high this year and, for me, lots of very good contenders. :-)

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 1 Dec 2013 10:58

There was talk on the tv last week, that Susannah was odds-on to win Strictly! I hope the decision has not been made already.

I don't know why the settee routine was judged as risky. It isn't that hard. Even I can do it.

But yet again, I am super-human.

:-D :-D :-D :-D

'Emma' Report 1 Dec 2013 13:05

Emma :-)
