Silly Sausage Report 1 Dec 2013 20:07

I cried throughout Alfie Boes number must of been really feeling it :-(

I think its the right time Ann, he and Evetta made a few mistakes in their dance off, I think they both knew, and Ola got her foot stuck again but gave it shape tug and released it ..

Really looking forward to next week, and NO BLOODY BRUCE Yeyyyyyyyyy :-D :-D :-D :-D

Mauatthecoast Report 1 Dec 2013 20:24

Mark looked as though he knew it was his time to go, but they've given us some great routines haven't they? and Ashley and Ola have danced smashing together :-D

Looking forward to the Swingathon next week :-D :-D

Did anyone else notice that for practically the first time the audience didn't clap the dancers and drown the singer out. Love him singing that. :-)

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 1 Dec 2013 21:03

I noticed that too Ann - I hate it when they clap during the singing

Ann

Re Sophia,my son is a fan of Sophia's but when I mentioned her husband he said "oh yes, there was something in the paper about him always being at the studio" so we were not wrong about him , although she was better this week :-)

I noticed - and wasvery pleased - that the audience didn't clap while Alfie Boe sang.

I really moving song, bought tears to the eyes. and it got a standing ovation at the end, which is just as it should be.

The clapping during the singing in previous weeks has been disrespectful and distracting.

This week Alfie Boe was first class, and we were able to hear the song all the way through.

A big thumbs up!

Hayley, you were right about Ashley being in the bottim two, well done.

I think that it was the right time for mark to go, he is possibly feeling relieved that he can have his knees seen to soon.

I was moved about Iveta's remarks about mark "I taught this man how to dance, he taught me so much more" A wonderful plaudit.

I don't want Nat in the dance off next week, as at this stage, she is likely to stay in, whch means that the other person will go (possibly when it shouldn't be their turn).

Much better all round this week after last weeks damp squib. I really enjoyed it. Great to see that Craig DOES have a 10 paddle. ;-) ;-) ;-)

As I was out for the last two evenings I recorded Takes Two and have just watched it.

Thought that Kevin looked very nervous when on the sofa, don't know if he is worried about the dance or if he had something else on his mind.

Looking forward to tonights free-for-all hope that there are not a lot of collisions (spl?)
Have no idea who will be on the dance off. Will have to watch all the dancing to see if I am any wiser.

Looking forward toit (again).

:-) :-) :-)

Wellll............................I think Susannah was a bit lacking this week. I dunno what she was dancing, but it was not what it was supposed to be. I think the MJ lean by Kevin was a bit naff too. She may well be in the bottom two this week I think.

Patrick was a bit intense. Not a criticism, just an observation. I liked it.

Sophie, I think she was a bit stiff, she might just as well have stood still and Brendan carting her around.

Thank you very much. Motowngal, News at Ten!

;-) ;-) ;-)

Ok hands up who thought Miss Faintypants would be true to her name whilst they were doing that swinging thing ;-) Good job MF won it really coz her paso was poo I was expecting much more from them. Abby and Patrick are my 2 favs this week :-D :-D

PollyinBrum Report 7 Dec 2013 20:39

Did't like Kevin's trousers in the Argentine Tango - what was the white stripe about?
Looked rather strange to me.
I think that he rather overdid the M.J. moves too, and not sure that the people in charge of the camera were aware that he was going to stay in one place, leaning forward, while Su went off and did her own thing.
I wanted to see him "get out of that" but it wasn't in camera view.

Would have liked to see all six couples in the swingathon dance for a little longer.
The first couple had gone before I was able to get a good look at them, so ccouldn't pass comment on how they were doing.
Same goes for the second couple.

Len looked (and sounded) rather annoyed a couple of times, I'm wondering if he likes to make an impression, or if he really was in a bad mood.

Not as studendous as last week, but still pretty good, I thought.

Probably Sue to go this week, but can't tell who else will be in the bottom two -
Ashley? Sophie? or someone else!!!

Silly Sausage Report 8 Dec 2013 11:04

I agree Tess I think Ashley and Suzanna in the bottom 2 Ashley hasnt improved much his score has remained the same for either 5 or weeks now Suzanna seemed to have peaked @ Blackpool if she doesnt go this week I suspect she will next week I cant see her making the final.... :-(

I want Abbey to win :-D

Mauatthecoast

Mauatthecoast Report 8 Dec 2013 11:24

Yes I agree with the comments.
I was disappointed with the swingathon :-( I know the programme's on a time slot but- imo- viewers didn't get much chance to even see the dancing.... cameramen could have got right onto the floor ( like in ye olden days of Come Dancing :-D)

Bet you and your OH enjoyed yourselves Paula?
in the sixties me and OH won a twistathon and first prize was?....box of 50 Gold Benson & Hedges :-0...imagine that happening now!

I hope Abby wins, she's such a natural dancer and at times looks like she's floating, well she looks as light as a feather doesn't she? :-D
Suzanne for tonight's dance off, not sure of other couple....

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget

TessAkaBridgetTheFidget Report 8 Dec 2013 13:36

I want Abbey to win too.

A very down to earth young lady and a hard worker.

Talking on takes Two this week about cleaning up the sick because her little girl had been ill. A rea; mum who puts her child first.

She is enjoying herself too, and it shows - her enthusiam is very infectious and it helps us to enjoy her dancing.

I have even voted for her a few times. In previous years I sometimes haven't voted at all.
