Think mothers often use long name, even when everyone else calls them Dai, Andy, Gav, Jon etc. To mothers (who named them probably) they will always be David, Andrew, Gavin, Jonathan. |

My uncle was always known as boy and still is if my mum ever talks about him. It could have been because he was the only son out of 7 children, or that my grandfather could not remember his name...even though it was the same as his own :-D |

Had a wonderful recipe for the best home made dandelion wine....dandelion flowers,,raisins Lemon juice water sugar.. Fermented for about 9 months must be picked on April 23rd.....don't know why it was on St George's day??.but this was always done in Wales.......this would have stopped the phantom bard in his tracks ..it was very potent....foreign at that! |

AnnC, I also worked with a chap called Michael Hunt ,not the same one I'm sure he never worked down your way. I always called him Mike as did most. |

the guy I worked with was a nurse - someone in the office had been looking for him when I saw him pass the office window, I shouted out "I've just seen M..... Hunt go past the window" to which some wag replied, "Well I've heard of throwing your voice, but that's just plain ridiculous"!!! |
