just on BBC news that police search unit with dogs have been to the grandmother's house and also that they have been searching surrounding area - however they say it is still a missing person enquiry and there are no suspects

I thought Tia looked like a typical 12 year old in the photo. Nice, modern but not over the top clothes. It's only a pity that one of the adults did not accompany her to the shops as they were a 5 mile bus/tram away. Not just down the road.

Have missed the press conference must check on BBC Text. I do hope she 'turns up' somewhere but it is not looking good after such a long time.

The longer this goes on the worse a feeling I have about the outcome. :-(

Her grandmothers partner has gone with plain clothed policemen - to help them with their enquiries - not been arrested - sky news

I feel so sad for this young girl and a little bit mad. There she is in the school hols going off on her own to a shopping centre. I wonder if she was going to have a holiday this year. You almost wish there is going to be a bizarre outcome like the one of the previous missing young girl.

The Police seem to be very focussed in their search for Tia.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2185939/Tia-Sharp-missing-Detectives-kidnapped-Shannon-Matthews-drafted-help-hunt.html

The reason I can't comment further as from past experience I'lll be pelted with rotten eggs...

Her grandmother Christine Sharp was thought to have been at home with Tia the night before she disappeared
But she has reportedly told police she was actually working and hadn’t seen her for 24 hours - arriving back after she had gone

....words fail me
