One if my best feel good moments to date of the Olympics.... is 15 year old Ruta Meilutyte the Lithuanian swimmer, who got gold in the 100 metres breaststroke, she was truly gob smacked, and couldn't speak, lovely to see someone so thrilled and proud. I heard her college say what a lovely student she is, she's at college with Tom Daley, and two other Olympians :-D

I'm an Ambassador in London Lesley, working around Green Park & Buckingham Palace. It's been a great day today, met loads of people from all over the world, Australia, India, Ireland, Gambia, USA, taken loads of photo's for them, seen changing of the guard, fantastic, never tire of seeing it. The weather was good. I'm back again for the next 5 days, will be there for the triathlon, and have seen many excited men going to beach volleyball, bless :-D

Missing seeing the Olympics, but catching up when I get home, and it's lovely feeling the excitement of everyone,

Good thing is the tourists are loving it, they can't believe how friendly everyone is, great for London :-D

Lynda on my local radio station BBC Essex I have heard nothing but praise for the Olympic Ambassadors keep up the good work you all deserve recognition. :-)

Maybe I'll write to Liz or Seb and suggest it :-D

Each Ambassador is having a tree planted with there name on it, it'll be done later this year, I'm really chuffed about that :-) I'm getting really good feedback about Ambassadors, it's good to know people like there help. Once my stint is over, I'll probably just keep asking people if they need help, perhaps I'll just keep wearing the uniform :-)

I watched the double trap and it seemed like it would be another case of commentator's curse. Thank goodness he held his nerve, a brilliant gold.
