I got the same earlier message but didn't put it up on the boards without asking Mac first, he then responded with the following which I have just read.

"Good News.................She's Home after 30 hours of tests etc,

She is now on medication after the brain scans confirmed a blood clot

She now has to take things carefully in case she has a second one, they are making a follow up appointment and in the meantime she has to go for a Gastroscopy and a Colonoscopy as the suspect she may have some external bleeding........She is very anaemic, they dont know yet whetyer she will regain her full sight yet, only time will tell.............NO driving for a month and definitely NO SEX !!!

Mac"

Only Mac could add the last part eh?

Hope Mrs Mac is soon lots better and her sight returns ok. Can't have both of you poorly can we?

FROM MAC

Keef, can you tell everyone on GR that there is an Old Geezer looking for someone to cut the Lawns (3), Weed the Garden, do the Washing, Do the Ironing, Make the beds, Clean the house, paint the ceiling, Clean and polish the Cars (2), repair the fence, clean out the fishpond, put the bins out, dig the vegetable patch, de-frost the Freezer, cook all the meals (er, no, only some), pick the apples, keep the double garage tidy, do the shopping, collect the medication, look after the grandkids for two evenings a week, decorate the attic, saw up the scrap wood for a stove, go to poundland for our shopping, and feed the Pet Tiger

Oh, and I left the last thing off because I am giving up SEX

Sorry to hear about Mrs Mac - sending my best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I hope you are looking after her properly now that she's home (and looking after yourself too).

If help is offered in any form, dont be too proud to take it. You need all your health and strength to do the personal things for you both at the moment. Who cares if the grass doesnt get cut, and if you dont feed the fish for a few days its surprising how clean the pond gets. Take care of yourselves now.

Just take care Mac, don't go overdoing things lol, writing that list must have been so tiring .....lol

Have you got a local Scout group nearby who would come and do some errands or gardening etc? Or maybe a church group who could find you some helpers, don't mention the sex bit to them tho lol they might get the wrong idea lol

Hope Mrs Mac is feeling better each day

Hello Mac
my o h says you can borrow me for a week to do all those jobs that Mrs. Mac usually does.

To Mrs. Mac
Just goes to show who keeps the home going.Keep your feet up and don't fret ,he will manage (eventually) and you can have a good chuckle watching him.
In fact you might like to let us all know of his managing !!!!!
we could do with a laugh
