Sorry Maz.

Still confused.
We are British but we all have different dialects and terminology.

I love it tho.. the beauty of different speech.

One holidays in Greece on yr I went up to a gang of Geordies that I thought were Welsh.. they were singing Welsh songs .lol

Yeah.. I recall the thread now.

Great shame you couldn't meet up Maz. :-(

Jude organised one for South Wales, it was great, I hope the others enjoyed it as I did :-)

Meg is a resilient lady Paula, but stubborn as well. She will not let anyone walk the dog, so I keep an eye for her to go with her.. she sometimes takes a different route..not past my house, so I try to go go out for walk when I know the times she is about.
It's about her time and it's fine here just now , so I'll don my jacket in case it rains , and pop out to see if she's about.

Hi all~~

Good on you Stan :-) Click away .....I only started this thread cos Brian's got deleted, and they are a lovely bunch of peeps.
Don't know what it's like with you, but it's drizzly here.

Hope you can get your refund Maz ;-)

Son 'disappeared' earlier... there is a footie match on I suspect, we have Sky but he likes to watch it with friends. Ours all have tele's , but only the living room one has Sky.... sorry but I may sound a nasty mum.. but I'm not paying for Sky in every room.. we've paid for their teles, now they are working if they wish to have Sky they can contribute towards it in their own rooms.
Priorities.!

luv

Yes Stan~~lol
I've sussed it now.. knew it was a Welsh team.

Dad was a footie player, and his 2 sons in law played Rugby.. imagine !!!
They never had a cross word tho.. lots of banter :)

Hubby now 'retired' watches both. He was a good rugger player, a county player in school and had a trial for Wales.
Not to be tho:(

Hi folks~~~~

Stan , Maz is always the early bird :-)

Very few times have I posted before you Maz..lol

Hope everyone is well today.
My elbow and upper arm are giving me gip at the mo... I will not have elective surgery again :-(
I wasn't told at the time..but it could take 6 to 18 months to feel any difference in my hand and fingers, neither that my upper arm may be affected. At my post op 6 week check , at which I complained, I was given an apt for 4 months time.!!!!!
I would have suffered the nerve prob in my fingers had I known....
Grizzle over.

Is it half term with your schools up North Paula and Maz..?
It is with us..didn't realise why it was quiet in As*a this morning, tho I was early, but someone else remarked how quiet, cos there weren't any school children around. :-)
There are 2 secondary schools close and there are always 6th formers in there.

Good morning folks~~~

It's a lovely sunny day here :-)
Second load of washing out already..our Brian will be proud of me...if he still looks in on the thread.

I was up at 6.30 to check that my son was getting ready for work, he's been there a week now and bless him he has been leaving at 7am each day..he has ....I guess a 25mile drive. Early days yet tho.lol
Having said that, after graduating and only having his seasonal As*a job, he would go into work at 5am ..or at any time they used to phone him.
Difficult time for peeps to get employment these days. Almost a yr it took him to get this full time job and not for want of trying

Dau is a different kettle of fish. She works in the same building as hubby ,so they normally travel in his car ( petrol prices /green-footprint etc) she is a late riser, either keeps hubby waiting in the car for 10 mins, whilst she faffs around...or as this morning didn't even get up til 8.30 ,when he likes to leave. So she had to take her car.. she's lucky that she works flexi hrs..also very lucky that we bought her a car, otherwise she'd have been on the bus !
Hubby is more patient than I am with her..but I don't think he would have waited an hour for her.lol Even tho she's a daddy's girl.

MORNING FRIENDS,
sorry I haven't been on but I have been feeling a bit rough. Not quite sure if it's a summer cold or hay fever but I suspect the latter because symptoms come and go.Itchy eyes, nose, throat etc.
Weather is beautiful today and I had a lovely walk with Ava and our Lois.I left Molly till later when hopefully it will have cooled down. Her coat is very long and thick and she likes to just find a cold spot on the kitchen floor to lie on.
Nice to see Stan posting again on here :>)
I have been E mail chatting to a lovely chap in Canada recently. We share a gt,gt,gt grandad lol

*$parkling $andie* Report 4 Jun 2011 14:43

Hi ~~~

Maz .. You wouldn't be grilling if you were here,..... forecast was sunshine, I put a line of clothes , hubby was gardening... and after a few mins dark clouds came over and .... it threw it down..got drenched getting them back off the line.
I was thinking of a BBQ too... just as well we didn't.
Really grey here now. :-(

Hope every one is fine. :-)
Sandie xx... with a painful right elbow and knee.

Going to to put on my jacket and exercise this knee, tried writing left handed.. looks as if I'm drunk . ;-)

Hi~~ to all us young and and old crocks.

You can tell that Stan is back.. :-D

I can cope with my knee.. sometimes no pain. Just walk a lot.

Can't hack the elbow just now. Apparently a soft spongy ball to squeeze is good for it.. so I'm giving it a go.
