Hi~~
My ideal and dad's was, if you loose a pet you have another.
Peeps say I'll never have another....phuff ..they are living in a haze.
You will never forget the funny memories they gave you.. Gizmo may return if he preferred your food Maz.
What have you called the new kitten...?
Bet he is climbing the curtains right now.lol
Had the dressing off my elbow this morning, no more bandage, but the bruise is farther than I thought, almost to my wrist and under my armpit ..UGH.. that's just 2 weeks.
Don't to have a bandage now.

hello, you must tell us more about the kitten Maz.
Wonder how long it will take for the bruising to go Sandie, hope it isn't too uncomfortable.
Gary was at the walk in centre yesterday to have his knee checked. He tripped over some wire at work and hurt his knee.Bit swollen and some soft tissue damage but thankfully no fracture.
Been rather chilly today here. xxx

I bruise easily ,so am not surprised at the extent of it. I have 2 more lower down towards my wrist..gosh only knows how they appeared cos I have been careful with that arm..just general housework I suspect.
I had the dressing changed at our surgery today ,they said the wound was healing fine ,but there is some sort of seepage of fluid still there.
So i have half a dozen dressings to use daily....must ring the to find out when I can stop then..tho I do have some from hosp too.
Arm isn't sore at all, but there is very little difference ..if any in my fingers yet, there nurse said it may take some time to settle.
Time will tell if op was a success.

Hi ladies~~~

Been sunny but very breezy all day.
My upper arm has been giving me gip so I have been resting it til now.9.30pm, it's much better ...been doing too much too early I expect..
Scar / wound is healing well , I've left the dressing off today while I was resting, but will put it back on to go to bed , for safety sake.

Hope you had a good day:)

Hi ladies~~

Hi both, l think I've been doing too much lifting with my right arm , tho the scar has healed nicely I still have a black stitch at the end of the wound, so am going to see the Nurse tomorrow.
It's OK really.. but I thought the nurse would have said about the removal of the stitch, but I didn't see it until I began dressing the wound myself.

Bet that Smudge, Maz is climbing the curtains.lol.. that will be your least of your probs with a new kitten :)

best get it checked Sandie, Our Lois is on antibiotics cos the wound where she was spayed was weeping a tiny bit where it hadn't closed properly.
Have got Ava overnight, she is playing horses one minute and rolling on the floor with Lois the next lol
Maz did you ever meet anyone from baptist church at Wolsingham called Robert Twinn? I can't remember his wifes name and it was quite a few years ago.

*$parkling $andie* Report 3 May 2011 19:03

It is tempting to cut the stitch out Paula ... that's just what they do, but I have the apt for tomorrow . I am very disappointed with the advice that I have not been given by the nurses at the hosp and our Dr's.
It was only when I started dressing my arm myself I noticed the stitch.
The Surgeon said all the stitches were soluble . This one obvious isn't after 3 weeks. Our nurse firstly said I couldn't have an apt til Thurs, then changed it to Wednesday when I said the other nurse said I could go in at any time if I had a problem .
I will resist, folks will have to wait for their dinner tomorrow.lol
Hope Lois is responding to the antibiotics, bless her.
