Keith, well done for being honest .

so you've had a few fags, i can live with that, you MUST have smoked less that normal,
but its the bulls**t,...." I'll try again tomorrow",
that's an excuse so you can smoke as much as you like for the rest of the day,
been there , done it, got the t-shirt to prove it,
next thing you'll cause an argument so you have an excuse to go outside for a fag !!
if your serious about stopping just carry on TODAY

((((( X ))))

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you all have a great Non Smoking day today

Keep up the good work you are doing great

The sun is shining beautiful today as usual here. Nice day today not too hot.

I just remember an encouragment poem I found when I was giving up
Hope this helps you through your day.

GOODBYE CIGARETTES:

I will miss my early morning coffee with you.

I will miss leaning on you when I have a problem.

I won’t miss the way you make me feel.

I won’t miss coughing, being out of breath, wheezing, the lung infections.

I thought you were my friend, but you were the enemy.

I won’t miss the mess you leave behind (dirty house & car).

I won’t miss all the trips to the store just to buy you.

I will be glad to have the money I will save by not buying you.

You Really do stink!

Hugs and Best Wishes

Jackie

Edit: Just a little tip I was told if your interested.
Get a Glass jar that you can see through put some water in it and each cigarette you MAY have put the Butt in. When you open the jar after a few Cigarettes are placed in there the Smell is awful it did help me think twice before having another cigarette. Thought about what was going in my body.

Goodmorning all,

Well done, keep going.

I like the poem Jackie.

I remember when my husband gave up smoking many
yerars ago, he would eat a couple of prunes during ther
day and then just keep the pip in his mouth!!!

May to-day be easier than yesterday for all of you.

http://quitsmoking.about.com/od/cravingsandurges/ig/Nicotine-Withdrawal-Tips/Deep-Breathing.htm

The first few weeks of smoking cessation may leave you feeling as though your day is one long craving for a cigarette.
You can bet that your mind will turn itself inside out trying to convince you that just one cigarette won't hurt, or that you can always quit again next week.
This mental chatter, also known as junkie thinking, is a common side effect of nicotine withdrawal, and every person who quits smoking goes through some of it. Don't let it throw you.

Breathe Through the Urge to Smoke
Cravings to smoke usually come on fast and with force. They start off strong and fade in intensity within 3 to 5 minutes. Don't panic when you're hit with an intense urge to smoke.
Take a few moments to concentrate on your breathing, and you'll be able to weather the craving successfully.
Close your eyes if possible and breathe in through your nose for a count of three, and exhale through your mouth for a count of three. Repeat this for a few minutes, and the tension in your body will begin to fall away.

Cravings to Smoke are Not Commands
How you choose to react to a craving can either increase or decrease its power over you. The next time a smoking urge hits, try a little reverse psychology. Instead of tensing up for a struggle, relax and mentally lean into the craving. Let it wash over you, and accept it as a sign of healing because that is just what it is. The urge will run its course and pass. Practice makes perfect with this technique. You'll get the hang of it with time and will find it empowering.
