Hi All

I am waiting for my Brother and Sister in Law to arrive they telephoned this morning and asked if they could call and see me I am so pleased they live at Hemel Hempstead we have always kept intouch. so I am looking forward to that.
The weather here was really terrible this morning the heat you could hardly breath I was glad to get back to the flat. but it is cooler now .

I have been sorting out some cross stitch patterns for my Grand daughter who lives in Dorset. I knew i had some I use to do a lot of that. so I hunted and found them in a small box in the wardrobe.

well I do hope you all have a lovely weekend and dont get overdoing things and stay out of the sun.

Afternoon Ladies
Managed to get washing done after the mist cleared and decided to do the patio door curtains too. Let them dry in the lovely sunshine.

Hubby took me to the garden centre and got some more compost so I could get more plants into the front garden this afternoon, which I have managed to do.

Hot and bothered now. Drinking loads and having to take painkillers every 2 hours for the toothache which is agony. Tried to find emergency treatment this morning. NO dentists open at all locally, well one who said they were full and no chance!!! Local emergency service just redirected me to NHS Direct and that was a 4hr wait for call back, unbelievable. As Hubby isat work from 1:00 we gave up and try to last until I can call the dentist on Monday.

So if I'm not around I am probably sleeping.

Oh the sunflowers are good about 4inches tall in with other plants.

I'm jealous now, you lot all got sunshine and we've got mist. It's mild but dull and wet. Nothing better to do so helped hubby to sort garage out, I'm filthy now. Going to have a nice hot bath, then phone for a curry.

Linda can you not go to a hospital about your tooth? We have a dental hospital here and if the dentists are closed we can go there, if it's really painful.

Where abouts do you live? It is hot and humid here now. Having to water the garden as all the plants are wilting as we haven't had any rain for weeks now.

I checked the hospital listings this morning and could see none that offered dental services out of hours. The nearest hospital isn't even open on Fridays as well as the weekend, guess it's specialist.

I don't drive so it would mean getting a taxi, Reading is the nearest or Frimley out near Sue. But I am just about coping with the paracetamol and Nurofen. Hubby not home til midnight.


I'd like to join you for your curry though Pauline sounds good.
