Just a quick addition before we leave.
Rita we are hoping to get to Kemble in the Cotswolds as the Vulcan is flying. So glad you are better today. You know we worry when anyone isn't too good.
Looking good so far.
Catch you all later.

Linda ~ I live about 30 minutes away from Kemble & drive by quite regularly. When you said you were going to an air show I knew it had to be that one. I saw the Vulcan flying at Lyneham only about a week ago.

Hi Sue
My son goes to the air show at Fanborough now and again.
My Dad built planes during the 11 world war he worked for Dehavillands he worked long hours mostly nights and use to come home dead tired. He volunteered for the RAF but they wouldnt take him they said his job was too important . He was not happy about that. Till he met some of the higher ups as he called them who came to the factory and spoke to him. he realized then how improtant his job was..
I hope Marilyn has managed to fine this elusive Harris. I have not been lucky. .

Hi Everyone Yes Whippet Lady it was Kemble. Had a great drive down, just slow getting in but then it always is. Really good walk round seeing all the static displays. Then the flying started. Very good. We were stood right by where the planes were ready to go to the runway, so really fantastic position. We saw a Tornado(I think) they were having issues and were worried it wouldn't makethe display here and then off to Silverstone too. But they worked really hard.................... nearly sent my husband in there!!! What a display. The pilot was Scott. Then the Vulcan, well what can I say ? Amazing. So glad we went. Left earlyish and slow to leave initially then they must have opened another Exit. Good drive down M4 as far as Swindon then 40 Max or actually a crawl for over half an hour. Then a sign flashed up showing a car flipped onto it's roof !!!! Having seen 4 recovery vehicles and a patrol car too we wondered. WELL unbelievably it was a people carrier on its roof !! No idea how they managed that. Nobody seemed injured and we'd seen no ambulances thankfully and saw no other cars that might have been involved either. Well we're home safe and sound and about to get dinner, maybe? as I really enjoyed a pasty and might not need anything more. Pop back later

Morning Rita Like a cuppa as we are up together !!!
(_)?(_)?(_)?{_}?
There's one for anyone else that gets up too.
I've just put out the rubbish, it's paper and tins recycling this week and we had saved so many magazines, why?
I have one little boy today, might be going out see how my husband feels.
We were shattered last night after walking around all day, only managed a little cross stitch. Tried to watch a film, but fell asleep before the end !!!
Have a good day everyone

LOL Rita, didn't you notice your trolley was a bit light? Never mind, the fresh air and the walk will have done you good.
Now that I think about it, I've actually done that with a birthday card, went to the post office to post it and then realised it wasn't in my bag. Make that 2 straightjackets!!
Marilyn, Linda always puts me to shame, I get tired just reading what she does each day. I get up at 5am every day but don't do half as much as Linda does.
I've been doing hou***ork today, still got loads to do, I'll get back to it soon.
Yesterday I was working on my tree on Ancestry and I accidentally deleted my 3x great grandfather - so the 4 generations I had before him disappeared as well. That was the line I'd gone the furthest back with, and the only one I'd done stories for. I felt sick!!!
It was my birthday on Saturday, got a beautiful bouquet and money of hubby. Think I'll go out and spend it tomorrow.
