Pauline you naughty girl why didnt you drop a hint at least it would have been nice to, wish you a happy birthday on the actual day

Happy belated birthday wishes

I would not have minded so much if I had not gone to a lot of trouble to the two parcels up very nicely wrote her address clearly as well. both are quiet heavy parcels not lightweight and to think I forgot them.

I am pleased I didnt email Georgia and tell her I was going to post them today. I will do it tomorrow I have to go and get my warfarin blood test done at my doctors in the morning so will put them in my trolley tonight

Cows really don't take alot of notice of the longest day. The only thing that affects them is when the clocks change. One herd starts their milking in the morning at around 04:30(230 milking cows) & the other herd at around 05:30(130 milking cows) wether it's dark or light.

For the larger herd I get to the farm at 07:00 as 04:30 is far too early for me aswell.
Although this weekend the boss for the smaller herd is going away so I will have to get up early then!!

Sue he gave me the money for one about 6 months ago, just haven't got round to it yet, When I go shopping I'll have a look around though. My old one got fixed last Thursday, but I've been busy looking for new furniture for the bedroom. I've worked on my tree a lot as well.

When I get the bedroom done I'll have to start making curtains again, can't get ready-made ones to fit my windows. Think I might look for a house without windows next time I move.

Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone.

Errrrmm Shelly, I notice you haven't told anyone what tomorrow is!!

Tell me what age James is in that 1881 census.

Pauline I hope you had a lovely birthday. So sorry none of us mentioned it on the day.

Good luck with your searches Sue you do seem to be having issues with them at the moment.

Hope you manage the early starts Whippet Lady. No the cows don't have clocks do they. But they do need milking twice a day without fail. so no time off and holiday cover has to be arranged, which is what I guess you are doing next week.

Rita you must have been so cross with yourself for forgetting your parcels. Hopefully it will be a dry day tomorrow.

Well I got the washing done, just need to iron it now. Planted up some herbs and then went and bought a load of bedding plants that I must put in over the next couple of days. After the child went home we went and got some compost/manure to bulk up the borders as the soil is poor. We stopped at our local hostelery on the way home Big mistake, after eating dinner I really don't feel like going out now and it is very heavy here, quite stormy actually.

Catch up later
