I have been around since Feb 2003, and see some of the early names popping up here.

I don't post often these days, unless I have something useful to say. I find all the changes to names just too confusing for my poor old brain.

I am still in contact with some of the early members, who seem to have drifted away.

I have been here about 3 years now, in fact is my GR anniversary soon Lol. I have always posted on and off usually on more serious threads!!! but I do miss some of the people mentioned. Tho' keep in touch with a few.

Gen seems to have a very different character to the one I first new but still lots of funny and caring people about!

I have been here over 2 years...and I have seen some people come and go......the one thing and the most thing I love about this site is the community spirit regards if people get along or not...I think that was proven with the saddest day for me when CarolB's son was killed...I was so proud of each and everyone of you for that...The first people I spoke with off the board was Joe of Bexley Heath who rarely posts now but remembered my birthday last year and post the thread for it.....I felt very honoured and the first person I met was racing fan Jean who just lives round the corner from me...lol......I love the meets and love meeting new people...

Nice to see you about:) I joined at the beginning of 2003 when the site was only a few months old. There are still a lot about who joined in the first 6 months but not many who post often.

I also think a lot of the older memebers don't mix often with the newer ones .....they tend to just post when they see their friends and maybe thats why most stop posting....

I agree with that Hayley, its good to make new mates though isnt it? There is the occasional person who posts to everyone though,

I like to think that as an older member (in both senses) I talk on here to both old and newer members. All organisations need new blood if they are to grow and many of the newer members are the ones who hold the site together. It is nice to speak to old friends on here but we older members are nothing special.

I am still in touch periodically with Vera Bromage. She used to live in Manchester but sold her house and recently moved to Wales where she is now nicely settled. I will pass on your regards.

I have been wracking my brains (well I can't find them actually, they've gone walkabout) to think of the girl who was at the Bristol meet way back and was on here about 18 months ago briefly. From the Liverpool area I think, ex wren. gosh my ability to remember names gets worse as I get older. was it Marley or something like it? Who else was at that very early meet? Pat from Bristol, Vicky somebody.

And has anyone mentioned George is not a girl? Is she still around?

Lucia popped up on the anxiety thread early this week, she is now at st Andrews Uni.
