This is either my fourth or fifth year - can't remember exactly. I remember Lemon as well as she was one of the first people to lend a hand to me. I was plain 'Margaret' when I first joined but altered it to Midlands Margaret a few months ago as there suddenly seemed to be a glut of Margarets and it was confusing as to who was who. I do miss some of the old 'posters' who were so helpful on the genealogy side but also 'Bridget' of the wonderful stories. Don't know which Bridget she was, but she was a best selling authoress in my opinion.

I have been here about 3 years I think. Lots of people have helped me and I recognise a few names. I shall be renewing in August.

Keep posting - some of the names mentioned bring a tiny smile of recognition.

I'm one of the older ones too, joined in March 2003. Haven't managed to get to any of the meets so far, unfortunately my job gets in the way!

Don't think it's half as much fun on here these days though.

I joined summer 2005 - I read a lot but don't post frequently - enjoy some of the quizzes. Planted loads of veg seeds today and just having a 'cuppa' and thought I would say Hello. Jx

Been here for over 5 years now. Regular posters when I first joined were people such as Lynda Pace, Vera Brommage, Nesta Rees and Shelia Wray.

I've had some great laughs with some of the folks on here such as Sue Smith and Bendy Wendy. I've also had some good barneys too! lol. I even had an eight week holiday once for calling someone a 'merchant banker'.....very unfair really cos he was! pmsl
