Hi Caz,
No I dont,
Its not a private members club, that prohibits someone from posting on a thread they want to,if I felt ignored I'd post all the more just to hack them off,,)))

I feel comfortable in Gen - but not the other Boards. I feel you need a valid passport to go there and im in no hurry to get mine stamped.

I go to Tips board first on the excuse that I am increasing my gen knowledge (which I am) then go to General, but here I seem to be attracted to threads where someone needs some support. I don´t always reply as sometimes I feel I don´t know what to say. But what I do is send some healing love and support silently to them. I only go to Chat to look for jokes! Chica xxxx

I add to whatever thread takes my fancy really.
Sometimes I am ignored, but really don't mind at all.......................I don't take it personally though.
I do notice there seems to be remnants of very old arguments brought up from time to time, but I ignore those as I think the past should stay in the past......................either make up or agree to disagree and move on has always been my philosophy on that.

Hi I have at time added coments to topics of intrest or to lend suport but most of you seem so friendly and close that it can seem a little like butting in on a privet conversation. victoria

Hi Caz :-)
I post wherever it interests me but try to avoid contentious threads and also don't wont to feel 'intrusive' when it may seem obvious that to add would be just that.
Talking of 'Cliques'....I was wondering the other day if some people thought that perhaps some of the threads I put up are just for those who I have become friendly with over the last year. This isn't so and anyone is welcome to add as long as they don't swear or get smutty or mention things going on in contentious threads.....not having a pop at others who have threads in this vein....tis just me I suppose....not my way, and wouldn't know what to say in answer :-))
I don't look on all threads as 'cliques', just people who feel comfortable with each other and have made friends. This is quite easy to do after a while. As in life, we can't all be expected to get along all of the time

I too, like to join in threads, If asked a question, or opinion, I like to respond however I would hate to sound a know-all, or 'opinionated' . some of threads are very informative and encourageing, and I have learned many things and interesting views, and I am sure these posts and threads have up-lifted some down-hearted people at times.... but I avoid them when they become a battle-ground. and slanging matches occur... and quickly leave the thread.... cmd

I like the lighthearted threads, and anything posted by a fellow welshman/woman.
I like to give my support to others when they ask.
I do get ignored sometimes (I am pretty boring) but don't take it to heart.
But if I see a thread getting nasty I'm outta there like a flash. I think this nastiness is uncalled for.

Hi Caz... ~~~~~waves to everyone~~~~~~~
I didn't answer this straight away.... well, I fib, I started to and then I realised that a straight forward answer wouldn't fit the bill!
I answer threads for a variety of reasons.
Some are started by people I know both in the cyber world and met for real...... so I am drawn to those anyway...
you always speak to or catch the eye of someone you know when you enter a crowded room, don't you? It is human nature... you say hello, chat about the weather, the children, the latest government fiasco.. in a sort of amicable, social chit chat sort of way, comfortable, friendly, safe, even if you disagree, it is amicable and non-threatening.
Then you *mingle* say hello to a newcomer here, pass a word of condolence to an acquaintence or someone you know has had a bereavement... you compliment another on their child's accomplishment, you compliment another on the beautiful roses you saw in their garden a couple of days ago. You don't need to be bosom buddies with these people, but you are friendly enough with them to really care about them, and offer congrats and support as appropriate.
You might join in with a debate here or there, maybe listen to views, but not want to express your own... or get hot under the collar if you feel passionate about the subject.
You'll go back to share a giggle and a laugh with those you know will provide that sort of entertainment.
There are also one or two people in that room that you either avoid in general, because you know that although pleasant enough, there is absolutely no meeting point, a sort of smiling *nodding acquaintance*...
Or someone that you dislike intensely. So you avoid them wherever you can.. stick up for yourself if needed, but avoid any conversations that they are *leading*.as you know that this persons views and attitudes are so very unreconcileable with your own.
The same is true on the boards, as in life.
So I add where I want.... when I offer support of any type, I mean it, every word.... so I do not offer physical, direct support lightly.. I mean it, it is not just something I say.
Sometimes I don't add to support threads, because my own emotions are too fragile and so my whole heart isn't in the words I write.
There are one or two people that I wouldn't add to in general, but might pm support, especially if that support was for someone else.
There are one or two people whose threads wild horses wouldn't drag me into... not even to read the content!!
So... Make what you will of that garbled lot!!
No logic in any of it... purely led by the emotions, me!! You should see my birthchart, lol!!
Love
Daff xxx

Hi Caz
I add to a thread if I want to regardless of who's posted it. Sometimes I get ignored....doesn't stop me posting lol. I have to admit sometimes I post on a thread and only remember to go back to it about an hour later so my apologies to anyone who thinks I was ignoring them.
Btw you're always welcome on my threads :-)

This is where things break down and peeps make the gap even wider. One of the reasons I rarely post.
