No I don't think there are 'no go' areas except those we set for ourselves.

However, there are certain threads I don't even bother to read because I know the content will not interest me, and other threads where I know I will be ignored...so I don't bother with them either.

I always try to leave a message on the support threads because I know how much strength I have gained from mine

I use General and Tips most of all, sometimes Records, and very very rarely look at the other boards.

Of those Boards which I use, I read and join in on whatever grabs my interest. It makes no difference who posted it, most of the time I don't notice. It's the topic title which catches my eye.
If I dont like the look of a topic, I don't read the thread.
If I'm in the middle of reading through a thread and it starts to turn catty, I leave it. Can't be bothered with people getting into on-line fights, life's too short. And, after all, there are plenty of lighthearted threads on here at which I can get a good laugh. And there are other threads which have reduced me to tears.

There are times I don't add to support threads because I just don't have the right words to say, or perhaps what I'd like to say has already been expressed in a better way than i could have.
But by not adding, doesn't mean that I'm not feeling for the person, or supporting them in my heart.

Sometimes Ive added to threads and felt that Ive been talked over, if that makes sense, ie the people carry on chatting to each other totally ignoring my piece. That's ok, it happens in real life sometimes. And perhaps they just didn't find my contribution interesting.

I come on here for the 'company' when I need it, as I spend a lot of time alone. I have found no end of information, comfort, laughs and help from various people...total strangers when you come to think of it...which just goes to show how amazing you all are!!

Gill... I really wasn't having a go at you... I was responding to your comment, and explaining how I felt, and attempting to clarify where I was coming from.

I certainly did not intend for you to feel that you were *spoken to like this* and apologise if my words have upset you... that was not my intention.

Apologies to Caz.

Hi Caz
I agree with you...there are certain people who make me feel very unwelcome on certain threads. Only yesterday I was so obviously blanked and I find it extremely rude and childish, but the likes of those people will not keep me away....infact i am more likely to carry on posting lol but there are also lots of people on here I love chatting to x

I wasn't having a go at you - I feel these statements can make people nervous to post anywhere, it is not the poster just the statement.

I don't need to be spoken to like this - this is exactly why I don't like to post anywhere.

Thanks Caz for letting me join in, but I will go away now.

Gill, I haven't posted to be contentious... but as I, and everyone else, have the right to post where I wish,,,, so too do I have the right to avoid posting where I feel uncomfortable, disliked or unwanted... wild horses wouldn't drag me into those threads.

That is how I feel... I own and make no apology for those feelings.

Love

There are one or two people whose threads wild horses wouldn't drag me into... not even to read the content!!

This is where things break down and peeps make the gap even wider. One of the reasons I rarely post.

Hi Caz

I add to a thread if I want to regardless of who's posted it. Sometimes I get ignored....doesn't stop me posting lol. I have to admit sometimes I post on a thread and only remember to go back to it about an hour later so my apologies to anyone who thinks I was ignoring them.

Btw you're always welcome on my threads :-)
