But he didn’t appear on any other after so he must have died or Went to live with someone else in the Family. I’m afraid it’s looking through Parish Records if you want go back further to see if there was a Samuel born c1830. Could you give me any Christian names for your Harrold’s & Hallet’s In Leicester and what years do you want in particular ? Otherwise it’s a trawl through 30,000 names for each year. . . MIKE. Greeting’s. . .Geraldine. I’ll see what marriages there is and I’ll get back to you. MIKE. |

Greeting's Again Geraldine. . . . This is an educated guess here. . . . I've found a Burial in Thrussington for ANN BAXTER. 26th.Jan.1862. Aged 41. Now looking on the 1881. Census. and taking the date of birth for Clement Baxter aged 11 has a guide That makes it 1870 ish. So there would have been a gap of eight years. Which could be about right. BINGO ! ! ! . . .1861.Scans of the Original Census. . . RG9/2279. Page 130. 10 doors down from “ The Star Inn “ Francis Baxter. Head.37. Veterinarian Surgeon. Born Greetham Rutland. ANN. Wife.40. Born Newborough, Northamptonshire. * NB John. Son. 10. Scholar. Born Glooston Leicestershire. Frederick. W. Son. 8.Scholar. Born Slawston. Leicestershire. Arthur. Son. 5. Scholar. Born Thrussington. Leicestershire. NB * it reads “ Newbury Northampton ” on the Census But Newbury is in Oxfordshire. I think it’s “ Newborough ” near Peterborough. Which was in Northampton then. So the marriage certificate for the marriage of:- FRANCIS BAXTER. ~ ANN WILSON. Dec. Qrt. 1848. Peterborough. XXVl . 534. Both Names & numbers check out on the 1837 site. Although on the free BMB site it says. " That transcriber was not able to read it." I’ve also found out that Francis Married Anna Warner. Dec Qrt. 1866. Leicester. 7a.515. Again I think a hic up with transcriber. Anna = Hannah Or " another fine mess Mum has got you in. " lol :0))) Hope this is of help to you. Now you go careful with your Mother. “ She’s a Leicester Gal. . . M’ Duck “ . . lol :0))) BEVERLY. . . . Thank you for allowing us to use your thread. . . I'll have a look into your enquiries and get back to you. Re Samuel & Lucy, etc. . . . RUTH. . . LOL..:0)) My Daughter moves on Friday ....lol :0))) and I'll have a look at the others latter today. “ Time to blow out the candle now.” . . . MIKE. |

Greeting’s Again Beverly. . . . I’ve the two Marriages up to now. Now need to trawl through Census returns To see what else I can find ? . . But due to the early dates. It looks like it could be a visit To the Records Office at Wigston to see Parish Records. Those Wit's Names could be the Brother & Sister of Samuel ? ? And you have the next generations back on both sides. . . . MIKE. SAMUEL STREETON Married LUCY WOODHOUSE. 1807. by Banns.
