Very much a guess, but basing it on the theory that James was born Belfast, and that his father was named James also ( which obviously he might not have been!) there are a couple of young James' of a likely age on the 1911 Irish census, Belfast/Antrim |

Shame I didn't see this yesterday, I was in Barrow and could have popped in to the library which has all the parish records including St Mary's Walney where they married in 1955. |

Has the birth date (which is same as OP) been picked up from the death reg. posted by Malyon and ?? therefore presumed birth same RD?? Or just that the Death reg. confirms the birthdate in the OP, so the death must be him ! |

Walter had two brothers-John & Cecil.John was married to Olive & they lived in the Liverpool area.They had sons-Colin & David.Walter also had a sister-Shirley. |

Margaret's husband was likely Samuel Doak. Samuel was born 1875 (Clougher)- the son of John Doak and Eliza Graham. He married Margaret Shaw in 1899 Belfast. |
