John Doak born 15 September 1927 had two sons David John and Colin Doak. He had four siblings Samuel, Cecil, Walter and Shirley. Samuel Doak lived at 20 Burren way and had two children John and Susan. Cecil had three sons, John, Mervyn and Alan. Walter had Linda and James. Shirley married Brian Sainsbury and had Christopher and a daughter. The father of these was John Doak b1900 and he lived at 6 Euston Parade, Belfast. He died in the Royal Victoria Hospital. The father of this John was Samuel Doak. Samuel b10 Dec 1875 was a plumber and he resided at 10 London road, 20 London Road, 92 My lady’s road and finally I have him at 55 Lomond Ave in 1918, all Belfast addresses. Samuel b1875 father was John Doak. He is listed as a Butler in Fivemiletown on his sons’ baptism certificate. John Doak married Eliza Graham on 12 March 1875 at the Parish Church Errigal Trough co Tyrone. One more generation back, the father on the marriage certificate is shown as Samuel Doak, farmer from Drumnadarragh, Errigal Trough, Co Tyrone. Research Continues. |

It is also worth noting that John and Beatrice had son Samuel. Samuel was the informant on John's death certificate in 1968. Samuel's address is recorded as Burren Way. I've messaged you a copy of the details. |

Margaret's husband was likely Samuel Doak. Samuel was born 1875 (Clougher)- the son of John Doak and Eliza Graham. He married Margaret Shaw in 1899 Belfast. |

Has the birth date (which is same as OP) been picked up from the death reg. posted by Malyon and ?? therefore presumed birth same RD?? Or just that the Death reg. confirms the birthdate in the OP, so the death must be him ! |

Shame I didn't see this yesterday, I was in Barrow and could have popped in to the library which has all the parish records including St Mary's Walney where they married in 1955. |
