Rene, I am ploughing through parish records for Guiseley which is where they seemed to come from. Matching baptisms with possible marriages and trying to form them into family units......great fun! That's when I've finished messaging the TTF board wanderers.

I love Lurpak - Spanish butter is awful - but I only have Lurpak when I visit UK - so eat the butter here as have no choice

Agree best eggs and there bacon is good too - no fluid leaks when you cook


Best black pudding also - we make our own in the village - 4 times a year - superb

I always look for threads that want Parish info

oh sorry Rene...just realised I didn't answer you re the Patents things. According to our Ginny....she of the experince with such things....Ancestry are really using wild card doofahs so it looks as though it's your ancestor but it isn't really. Seems it could be to get you to pay the extra dosh for Premium. oh well. One lives and learns.


I love butter and treat myself occasionally.....got some in the fridge now..Anchor I think.


Daughter is fraught because her computer seems to have died. She had this prob in December last year and it was something to do with the charger as I remember. She has it on a contract wotsit and it was very hassley. I've advised her to sort it with her brother when she goes to his tomorrow.... coward that I am, but she gets so worked up about things like this and it's very difficult to deal with. I'm going to let her use mine in a mo so may not be back till later. sigh............

Just to say I'm back. Things a bit calmer....can do without hassle at my age! It's the Asperger's thing with her you see. I set her to looking for Chippendales....worked a treat.
