Would any of you nice, lovely, smashing people with Premium be willing to look at something for me?

If so, I have just noticed that William Myers Chippendale is down on the US Patent and Trademark wotsit loads of times. I am tracing his family so am curious to know what that is all about. He was in the USA in the 1840's with a Dr. Albert Isaiah Coffin........nice!?

I have quite a lot on him so don't need census or anyfink fanks.

Cynthia

Did you ever find a connection between Chippendale and Coffin - apart from the Rootsweb chat posting

I found loads on Coffin - bit not a mention of Chippendale

Love that thread

I need a drink!

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 13 Aug 2010 16:13

Hi Irene, yes I got some things on the connection between Chippendale and Coffin.......but this takes the biscuit.....

Chippendale had a son in 1854 whom he named.....

Albert Isaiah Coffin Chippendale !!

The poor little mite succumbed the same year. May have been a still birth or short lived child.

That sort of cemented the relationship somehow!

Now off to see what this lot are waffling on about...
