Well we seem to be able to follow Elizabeth Smith but not her Frederick but if he was a fisherman then he could have been at sea on the other census too but not when he was tiny!!!!!!

He must be there somewhere mistranscribed.

Will have another look tomorrow as I need my bed!!

I must just add though, it is sooooo nice to have someone answer our questions on a thread Suzi. Usually people just put a question up and never reply, well a lot anyway. I never go any further with them even if I could.

thanks michele i have this census, its placing him before 1891 i am very stuck on????? i can understand maybe in the 1881 census he is out at sea, but in the 1871 census he will only be of a young age???? regards suzi.

i have found a charles lark, wife elizabeth and daughter elizabeth read, she is married to charles read and they have daughter elizabeth read age 1, there address is 137 row yarmouth, this is funny as i am looking for lark and read at 139 row yarmouth????????????????????????????????????

Is 139 Row the address on the birth cert you have for Frederick?

There is a Joseph Lark born c 1814 living there in a few census records.
