ELSIES BROTHER WAS JAMES JEFFRIES BORN 1884 SUNDERLAND AND HIS OCCUPATION IN 1901 WAS PLUMBER. WE NEVER KNEW HE WENT TO AMERICA THOUGH.

Hi Lorraine, bit of a long shot but, wondered if you could possibly find a Joseph George Thomson and a Mary Ellen Thomson, emigrated to Canada sometime after 1922. Sorry that's all I know. In 1922 according to their marriage cert. Joseph was 25 and Mary 21.. At that time they were living in Bristol.

Thank you soooo very much for your help with William Gadd - amazing information.
Are you able to find out where he was after WW1 - would love to know if he stayed abroad after the war or if he died over there.
Also any further info on the Rev would be great - like when he went to Canada. He may have been born in Ockham, Ripley / Send / Woking or Cobham Surrey. There were loads of John Gadds in the family then so would be graet to finfd out which one he was, as several of them were brought up in church cottages in Surrey.

Hi Lorraine, thank you so much for the look up on my Good brothers, this is them on the 1911 canadian census and Edward and his wife and daughter in the states, just a pity Arthur is not with them, another of my relatives not wanting to be found, but thanks again for all your hard work, it is very much apprecaited.

and I think it says bro not rev next to james gadds name
it says he is williams next of kin and lives in vancouver so i'm inclined to think he is the james shown on the passenger list going to canada in

Hi there i am looking for my greats aunts children to see if i have an connection in america.
Details Alice flrance Beston(1894) went to usa in 1914 i think she went out to get married as she sailed there on her own.
Harold Bigley(1896) is the man she married he was english but was in the usa air force.
they must of been married in either 1922/3 in NJ
