I wonder if you could look for anything on my Relative, Edward Hopley, born 1888 in Lancashire, who went to Canada, please ? I have found a Passenger List & Border Crossing with him on already but would like to find other info. Edward sailed from Liverpool in 1912, onboard the S S Canada bound for Quebec., his final destination was to be Fernie, British Columbia, his Occupation was a Miner, he was Single, aged 25 yrs.

Could you please have alook at this for me?

I have a John Turnbull c1891 Scotland Dundee area. He died in Chicago, Cook, Jan 1937.3405 Pulaski rd,county of Cook.
The informant was a Kathleen R Turnbull .

He left Uk c1920.I think he went to New york, Theres a record of a John Turnbull going from Glasgow on 24th Nov 1919 on the Columbia?This one was an engineer. Could well be him as on his death cert he was a tool maker.

What I am trying to find is his marriage to Kathleen unknown and any family they may have had. They may have married in Chicago or New york.

I have another thread on records but I spotted your offer and thought i would ask you.

Hi Lorraine I have an ancestor, Andrew Benjamin Wilkes born St.George in the East in 1842. I believe he may have gone to the USA sometime after 1873, he was a toy maker by trade. He seems to have changed his name to Andrew Benjamin Ross at some stage but I wonder if you could find any details of him going abroad please. Many thanks Irene

He didnt go there till 1919. He had a daughter born Scotland 1916.
The one you found with Isabel I see it has imigration 1902.

He was still in Scotland 1911 and census not out yet.

Andrew Wilkes/Wilks/Ross Thank you Lorraine not sure when he changed his name to Ross he fathered a child in 1873 but cannot find him after that date. He left his wife and children between 1873 and 1881 census. Thank you for looking for me, much appreciated. Irene

I have a relative Emma Jane Goodger (born 1890) who emigrated to Canada in 1915 who went on to marry Walter Cox. Walter emigrated to Canada in 1905, but do not know when or where he was born.

Can you help locating their marriage please?

I was wondering if you could do a search for 4 brothers that went to America Joseph Fallows he was born in 1880 in Bolton and i know that he married a Hannah Frodsham before he went to America, William H Fallows and he was born in 1885 in Bolton and i know that he married a Emily Reed and Lena Higgs and that he had a son with Lena called Paul in 1919 and that William died in 1967, Thomas born in 1895 and died in 1964 and Harry born in 1899 and died in 1975 and i know that he married a Mabel ? .
They died in Millville New Jersey.
Any thing you could find out about these brothers would be of great help.
